Where have you been my whole life?! For visual and nonlinear thinkers!

Vunderbar

Are you a visual and/or nonlinear thinker? Get this app! This app works like I think and lets me easily get thoughts organized. The interface is simple, but clever. You won’t need to spend time reorganizing flow charts as the drag and drop lets you do so easily. Also, the intelligent self organization of the maps makes adding content easy.

Upgrade ?

Why we should purchase again MindNode5 while we have purchased MindNode4 ? Why there is no direct upgrade for that ?

Disappointed

RickThomasNet

I brought MindNode years ago. I use it some and like it, but now I have to pay again to get the latest version for my Mac and iPad. No thank you. I’ll find another. - Disappointed

An outstanding app on both iOS and macOS!

Long time user and love the quality and simplicity. Easy and quick to use hardware keyboard to quickly capture thoughts (very useful in group brainstorming / with clients). With frequent updates, this is a tip top developer, and I’m not at all disappointed with having to dole out some more money for a new version. I don’t recall when the last major release was, but it definitely wasn’t in the last year. Maybe even 2 years. And definitely liking that they haven’t moved to a subscription model. I think you’ll be pleased with your purchase (and especially the Mac version) if you actually use it. Mind mapping software is brilliant if you find yourself disorganized often and need to easily move thoughts and ideas around. I’m a software engineer (iOS), and I know it is inevitable that some folks will whine about a new major version and having to “pay again”. Most folks don’t understand the incredible amount of time and work it takes to craft a professional app. Simplicity and powerful is hard. Plus updates and keeping up with Apple’s new features and devices requires a lot of time and effort. I think the last couple of versions have been more than fair with the length of time you get FREE updates between major versions. If you often complain about junky apps and it being difficult to find good apps... AND you whine about money... you have yourself to blame. Quality software costs money. And it likely will pay for itself by saving your valuable time. Don’t settle for free and frustrating. Go quality and you’ll get your money’s worth!

Another paid upgrade?!

willwillwillwill

I’ve seen some apps developers build a completely separate paid upgrade to an app before, but it has usually been for a drastic overhaul. This is not the first time MindNode has pushed out a new app leaving those who have paid for their previous versions to pay again if they want new features. I was put off the last time they did this, but I went and paid for MindNode 4 anyways. Now I have to pay $9.99-$14.99 again to get new features with MindNode 5? If you want loyal users that will fork over more money (higher app price, subscriptions, etc), put energy into developing (and continuously upgrading) a single app that your users will confidently know will be supported for a long time. That’s something I have paid more for in the past with other apps. I won’t be falling for this again with MindNode.

At least, make MindNode 4 good with iPhonex

So disappointed

I have MindNode 4 which is 15$ ... It’s not a cheap app so why MindNote 5 is not free for version 4 users ? I really expected this update to be FREE for us !!!

Great update

I love the update and love that MindNode is offering a reduced rate for existing customers. I use this app a lot for taking notes, organizing to-do lists, and planning out writing assignments. If you are the type of learner/thinker that needs to see the big picture before understanding the small details - this is the app for you.

One design issue

ScottOreily

The menu that is on the top left when inside a mind map needs to be lowered (or repositionable). Makes for poor one-handed use when all the way up there especially on larger screens.

Can’t purchase, won’t let me sign in.
