This used to be free. And it still says it is free. This is no longer the case. And they’ve been called out for lying about this. There are plenty of free exif editors. Don’t bother paying for this one

paid for this awesome app BUT it wont allow you to change the photo name or reset the photo name other apps apply to your photo thereby not removing ALL metadata. ie facetune attaches facetune_whatevs to all saved photos. change this and 5 stars.

Thumbnails aren’t full resolution, even when you select them, It’s just a thumbnail. Edit controls are limited. I can do more in other metadata editing apps for similar money. The user experience is nice, but I want to be able to edit EXIF details like I can in other apps.

Metapho has the missing photo organization features that Apple should have included in the stock Photos app. Now you can edit metadata on the iPad like you can on the Mac Photos app, changing dates and locations for improving organization and search. The only feature still missing is the ability to edit/ add Face/People tags.

I use this app constantly to clean up metadata on photos and it is spectacular. Simple, purpose driven app. Straightforward minimal interface makes it super fast to make changes to every bit of metadata. Love it.

I love the integration with the Share menu in the Photos app. Makes it really quick and easy to view EXIF metadata. Very nice interface too--visually it looks as if it were made natively by Apple!

As someone who imports photos from a DSLR camera into photos library, this is a very useful tool! My camera often resets date metadata and does not record location. Before, I would have to edit the data on my Mac and I couldn’t add location. This lets me do everything on my iPad which is so much more convenient. Worth the $4 one time purchase. Nice to see its not subscription based like other apps.
