Great App

tugboatsff

Really easy to use and well maintained by the developer.

Great app for sharing images without metadata.

Reina Beatrix

Smooth easy sharing to social media with no tagging. Nice.

A Must Have For iPhone Photographers

ScottHSmith

Does what it says on the tin, and comes in handy so very often. It's a great app for seeing and modifying photo data.

Does what it claims to do

Books2718

I especially like the ability to edit date and location for multiple photos simultaneously. This is handy when dealing with scans of old photos.

not editable unless paid

Reduces image file size

BrooklynHasTrees

Overwriting the metadata of a 23MB jpeg with Metapho reduced the file to 3MB. There is no option to adjust save quality or compression level.

Can only edit date/location data.

MetalHead44

For $3, you can edit the date/location and direction of your photos. You cannot edit other metadata such as make, model, lens, etc. Would be perfect if that was added. If you only need to edit location data or want to edit exif tags, then use Exif Photos... it's free. Issues with Metapho... 1. This app does compress the photos upon modifying the date/location. It can turn a 24mb png file into a 1mb jpg file. Be careful if high image quality is important to you. Would be great if the developer added an option to choose output format quality/compression rate. 2. You can't edit the date within the photos app extension. You can edit location in the extension though. Please add date editing to the extension. 3. This app would be perfect if the ability to edit other exif/iptc tags was added too!

Nice Program

Apple-Mark

I love this program because I can put all my wallpapers next to each other in the default iPhone photo gallery. I can also put other misc images away from my camera roll all by just changing the date. However I couldn't batch edit the dates of multiple wallpaper images but no biggy, maybe i was doing something wrong? I guess you can't edit video metadata with this yet, maybe someday? There is one program out there that can but I ain't mentioning any names. The GUI is so darn ugly I can't bare to use it. This looks great and somewhat fun to use. Totally worth the price of a gallon of milk.

Thumbnails

stinkypete2021

When editing the date on photos, something happens to the photo or thumbnail so that it shows up as a blank when restored from iCloud photos. The only way to fix this is to edit the photo, select revert and save. Had to do this for thousands of photos.
