I don’t use FB but love messenger because it’s helps me stay in contact with a lot of ppl but there is no feature to change my profile picture in the messenger app. This feature used to be available but it’s no longer there
Accidental Group calls

I’m pretty content with messenger at the moment but my biggest pet peeve is that it is very easy to add people to a private call which can be very annoying. I’ve mistakenly had people join my call twice and have been added to other people’s calls as well. Some calls are private and there should be a way to freeze to screen so you can’t add people if you don’t want to. I don’t want to swipe up on the screen then end up adding someone! Please fix this!!
Forced to Update

I find it very funny how the app forces you to update and says that the app won’t work without it yet until that notification pops up it works just fine.....I’ve seen the new update and wasn’t impressed. I shouldn’t be forced to update if the app clearly works fine without it!

Images, videos are not deleting like they use to. You use to just tap on the image and in the bottom right corner “remove” would appear than it would ask you to remove it. Than you can remove it. It is not doing that anymore. It takes many times for that to come up and most of the time it’s just emojis that pop up. So it has been two weeks or since I sent this and no change. So I dropped my rating a star.
Stupid filters

I have been trying to take selfies with the filters and the filters keep getting stuck and if I change filter it still stays to the frist one I use and I have tried leaving the app and getting back on it
Messenger always turns to gibberishMixed letters and number instead of text after 11 pm edt.

They hack your phones fb and messenger account when texting after 11pm edt. The words turn to gibberish and it is extremely invasive of privacy and 1st amendment rights
Bring back old react emojis!
