Simplest function use case is terrible

I downloaded the app to scan the QR code on a mega-millions ticket (hey, if the jackpot expected value is greater than 1, technically it’s a good investment...) Load app, select function to scan ticket. It focuses on the code, appears to read it, and reports the result - a little green box that says “Not a winner”. That’s it. Nothing that indicates that it read the ticket correctly, just “not a winner“. I have no idea if it checked the ticket correctly or misread or just wanted to tell me I lost. At the least it should pull up the winning numbers from the drawing and display them for me so I can check for myself. I have deleted the app already. I want something more transparent to help me manage my investments...

April 7- App updated already with fix. It’s harder to focus just right for scan, but it’s back to working. April 2, 2018: Apple updated to iOS 11.3. Now this app crashes on launch. Worked fine before. Had to prove you’re not a robot, but otherwise it was OK. Aug 3, 2016: will work after accepting new terms of use. Hit menu button and profile. Then you'll get the app going again. They need to make it obvious. First review: I am so happy to be able to scan my tickets for rewards and to check for winners. I have had no problems. It used to take so long typing in all those numbers/letters. Position the ticket as it says and it should work fine. I am using the latest iOS and iPhone 6. A million times "thank you." No more checking losers at the store and worse - having them tell you your winners are losers and keeping them themselves. Yes, that could happen too. Not anymore!!! ?
Use an easy password!

Use an easy password for your account; you'll have to type it every time you use the app. It's totally ridiculous. For the most part, the app isn't much better than the public web page. The only advantage the app has is it lets you scan the code to enter tix for MyLottery Rewards instead of typing.
How long does it take?

The app has been crashing at startup for weeks. The problem has been pointed out by many reviewers. When will this issue be fixed?
Recent update very messy

I can log in fine on my Android devices but this iOS version of the app has worsened since the latest iSO update. The error message reads that ‘no information found’ when I attempt to log on with the the same log-in that I’ve used since installing the app years ago. Please fix soon. Thanks

The occasional bug here and there that usually gets fixed relatively quickly. But the real reason why I gave this app 3 stars is because the developers really need to get with the times and make this app compatible with thumbprint and facial recognition for iOS. Having to type all of my information every time and then go through 3 pages of captchas (they never work the first try) is rather obnoxious.

One thing this app does need is a thumbprint sign in. I’m tired of consistently typing in my login and password every time I want to go on. If you had it set up to where your thumbprint can log you want or save your login and password it would be great.

App Version 1.1.0 crashes and I cannot sign in. I have removed and then reinstalled the app but it still crashes. Please fix.
