I don’t want your VPN I don’t want your So called 30 day free trial. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME

So when I was at a website in safari it told me that it wont let me in because I had a virus on my Mac but the problem was I DIDNT own a mac so I don’t know what to do I downloaded this app and it just said I was secure but I don’t know what to do next so this app I think is just telling you that it’s safe when it is just a app with no protection

Absolutely terrible. This is garbage. It logs itself out and requires extensive subscription code, then password, etc to log in. This happens a few times a week. It also has totally shut down all forms of internet on my iPhone requiring uninstall of app. Incompatible with many other apps I’ve previously purchased so I essentially can’t use it.

App keeps crashing

Hello, Not sure if it’s the latest 15.3 iOS update or what (updated 1/28/22), but here’s what happened: - Before I updated my iOS, I signed in with the MCAFEE account and got in, was told my iOS was out of date, and I updated it. - I get the Wi-Fi scanned, then set up the VPN without problems. - My app crashes whenever I go back into it. VPN also isn’t registering with my Wi-Fi as I try to activate VPN on Wi-Fi. VPN symbol in the corner goes away within two (or so) seconds. - I go into the app and it crashes. May want to get the tech team or whomever is in charge of this app on this. Otherwise, it seems okay so far. Just wish it would keep VPN on and would stop crashing.

I really would like to speak to the CEO in reference to this product. I purchased this last month and it does not work on my new iPhone or my two iPads. So you take my money and when I call you tell me that I have been upgraded and you are working on it. Well, I still have no security on them. My computer is working, but I needed help with that as well. Apple you should be able to report them or do something because I am literally throwing my money out the door. I am not at all computer illiterate and if I am hacked because this product is not working MCAFEE you will be the first to pay whatever is stolen. Please Mr. CEO fix this. UPDATE: I called them again yesterday regarding my problem #90996701 and I was told someone would call me back by the end of the day. No one called me and is anyone listening I tried to find the number to the headquarters but it rings once and hangs up. Please someone help me and post this on your review. I am paying for a product that is not working and no one is helping me. I would remove them from your App Store and have them reimburse me. No one should ever buy this company’s product. Update: still waiting for someone to help me. The activation code is not working and I am still getting the run around. Please could someone HELP me. Update: I again called and I was told I would be called back and I am still waiting to get this fixed is anyone working to help me. Places I would like this working. Update: I did what u said and downloaded the free trail, but I better not get charged for something I already paid for. I cannot believe no one is stepping up to the plate to fix this. I have called many times and I am told the same thing we will call you back. This is a rotten way to run a company and to Apple that you let this happen shame on all of you. UPDATE: Well I did the 30 day trial that apple suggested I do and when it got down to 3 days my MacBook Pro computer said that my security system was not secure. I called they fixed that problem, but my iPad’s and iPhone still are not working. They continually say they will call and never do. I am still waiting for my elevated number #90996701 to get fixed. You have not done anything to help me, but u continue to let them take my money and u sponsor there product. This is ridiculous. Can someone please step up to the plate. UPDATE: I have sent several emails and calls and they still have not helped me with fixing #90996701. I continue to be told we will call you back. And again no one is getting back to me. What is wrong with you all letting them take my money and do nothing. Could someone please step up to the plate and be responsible and help me get this problem fixed. It would be appreciated. But I will not be holding my breath.

VPN keeps activating

I installed this app only so that I had a vpn for when I needed to use a public wi-fi. I set the app so the vpn was only on when I needed it, but it kept activating on its own. I went to my settings and turned it off, but it turned itself back on again. This was on my home network, which is secure. To make things worse, when the vpn activated I couldn’t connect to my network. I had to remove the app

Added the windows software portion to my laptop. It ruined the machine. Wouldn’t work, wouldn’t un-install, wouldn’t allow access to my machine. Destroyed my services. Tried everything. Their FAQ was worthless. Customer support, as usual, was unavailable. I had to re-install a clean windows to get it back up. Took it off my iPhone. Will never use a mcafee product again. Nothing follows

Dropping WIfI networks

Since the new upgrade, with VPN turned on, Mcafee drops my home network WIFI and will not let me reconnect to it. The only way to get back on WIFI is to delete the macabre app and reinstall. This has happened twice.

I deleted it because it was free at first, now it says try out free 6 months subscription. Thanks, but no thanks. You want me too forget about, then charge me after the 6 months? Nah, I’m good.

Update is way worse

Precious versions way more user friendly thsi app has less features and more annoying alerts. I don’t understand who would think this update is good unless someone new totally took over and purposely made it bad. I keep having to sign in for some reason and it doesn’t allow to make a WiFi safe And it doesn’t show which devices are protected.
