I’ve been using this app for a few months and I finally decided to delete it. I’m not sure why but if you can’t connect to the internet try and open the app. Once that’s able to load the internet and everything else will work. If the VPN isn’t running it won’t let anything else work. And the vpn is usually off even after setting it to “protect me at all times”. So before you can watch YouTube you have to go through the mcafee app and turn the vpn back on.

Worst app ever ! unreliable!

Keeps logging me out of my account. And then when I open it it keeps freezing. Why did I even pay for it! Do not spend! Also when you try to log back in to your account it does not ask fo your uid or password. It asks for your subscription code which is also difficult to find. Soyou have to log in through the website go to particular section and then enter it. No other way. Worst ever software.

Reading the reviews, it seems everyone has basically the same problems with Mcafee and this app. Mcafee read the reviews and fix the problems, or get rid of this app and stop scamming people for money.

Not good for IPhone 13

I had my brand-new iPhone 13 for about three weeks. I downloaded this app per peoples suggestions because I wanted to keep it safe since I had invested so much money in this phone. I set it up as directed and everything seemed to be going fine until about an hour later my phone went haywire. I ended up having to turn off everything related to the McAfee App in my settings to get my phone to even work again. I called and they said to delete the app and re-download it and it would fix the issue. I did this and it would not even accept my login. I called again and they said it was an ongoing issue with McAfee and to try again in a few hours. I rinsed and repeated several times and nothing helped. I ended up deleting the app off my phone and it still does not work properly. According to the app and website I don’t even have an account but when I call customer support they claim I do and they don’t see an issue. They closed my ticket and said it had been resolved. Thank you McAfee for your lack of understanding, not helping, not caring, and messing up my new phone. Never again

First, the app was free—and worked well. Then it changed to a 6-month trial—and worked well. Finally, after a week or two of the 6-month trial, it stopped working, and, instead, a 30-day trial offer is now being made. I found a way to get to the login, but it wasn’t easy. The screen shows logging in but a blue ring circles endlessly. I contacted support and was told to reinstall app. Same result. DECEPTION IS NO WAY TO GET SUBSCRIBERS.

Completely stopped my WiFi from working

It worked well until I started using the vpn and when updated my phone. It started to keep disconnecting me from my Wi-Fi. When I deleted the app my wife started to work. It wasn’t just problems with my wifi, it was problems with app because everyone else at my house could use my wifi.

I am still getting a message every day from AT&T “ your sim has many virus, we will closed your device. You should get this ……” Tap and moving to this home site.they want to buy again. Is this Scam site? I just bought a few weeks ago by annual plan. But they recommended renewal, annual plan $68.00 “ I can’t update of APP. Nothing on “ update “ within my setting page!!

I hate the new version

The new version is terrible and constantly interferes with my other apps and browsing. Sick and tired of mcafee putting new versions that have to many bugs test your crap before you release it.
