I trust this brand for years, and have even invested in stocks (why not?). The VPN saved me the hassle of having my information stolen (again) after forgetting to install it on my new phone; after dealing with the damage (replacing credit card, blocking the account, monitoring on any online financial activity), I realized that the virtual bugs and viruses are a big problem to keep at bay. Now, I only have to update the app once in a while.
Caused an issue with Apple CarPlay

Use this on my Windows Laptop as well as my MacBook never an issue. Downloaded and installed this app on my phone and it broke Apple CarPlay. Not only in my car, but wife’s as well. Wife’s phone and my work phone both worked fine for CarPlay in both vehicles, but not my phone. Once I uninstalled CarPlay worked as usual. So decent enough app, but it appeared to break CarPlay so not worth much on phone.
Issues with the app

Had no issues when I 1st got the app, but over the last few updates there have been problems. The app now constantly forgets my login info and after a couple of days it will log out. I now how to enter my subscription # and log in info every time I open the Mcafee app. Also, if the vpn is active it will knock me off of my wifi for 10-15 minutes. The vpn will sometimes activate even though I have it selected to turn on manually. It’s been a irritating few weeks with this app.

Ever since the update I have been Unable to log in. Asking for my subscription code which I cannot find anywhere in “my account” as it says help!!!’
Updates require reinstall to obtain log in access

Updates are fairly often, which is good in itself. But to get the program to function, the app must be deauthorized and reauthorized from a computer to obtain the code to activate the app.
Internet not working with iOS 15.2

I was in my 30 days trial period. After update the iOS version to 15.2, my wifi and mobile internet stoped working. Then after uninstall the app it again start working. I am using iphone 13 pro.

The update has a bug. In the preferences I check keep VPN all of the time. Yet it turns off and the app tells me that I should have it on for protection. Yes I know, that’s why I checked the box to keep it on. Very annoying ? in addition, about every few weeks, it’ll log you off and you have to re-enter your long security number and password. Thumbs down ?
