Dropping WIfI networks – McAfee Security: Privacy & VPN Review

Since the new upgrade, with VPN turned on, Mcafee drops my home network WIFI and will not let me reconnect to it. The only way to get back on WIFI is to delete the macabre app and reinstall. This has happened twice.
