I recently learned Mah Jongg with some local friends. This is a fun way to practice. My only wish is that there was an explanation of the winning hands and how points are scored. I keep observing and since there are many different “house” rules, I need some help understanding how these hands are scored.

I really like this game. I didn’t know how to play at first, but this app was really helpful. And one of the best parts is NO POP UP ADDS!!! I think it is great.

It’s a good game but it was hard at first to learn what does what. Trying this game out and learning for the first time was difficult. I think what would take this game to the next level would be having an option to slow the game down when you are playing with computer players so that you can clearly see what is being discarded as they are doing it to get better at recognizing “Kong’s” “pung’s” and “chows”. Tutorial games to teach people how to play with play through scenarios to solidify what is being shown and done. Thank you for having this game available among all the other shanghai mahjongs out there. It’s helped me to learn the game (with some help from youtube) and I’m looking for a set to teach and play with my family. Thanks

But I can’t understand the scoring. There are a lot of hands I’m not familiar with. We play simple Hong Kong style in Honolulu . Thank you very much! It’s fun, esp. with social isolation!
