Best real Mahjongg game.

I LOVE this game. I'm a Mahjongg player for 40 years. I also teach American Mahjongg (with 8 jokers). I did not play Asian Mahjongg until 2 days ago. Last night I played for 6 hours. There is a learning curve but you can catch on very quickly if you play a real game. Not the type matching 2 tiles on the screen. Personally I LOVE to give this game more than 5 STARS.

I absolutely love that this is the real mahjong, instead of a matching game. An added bonus is that since you're playing the computer, I don't have to worry about joining a social network to play.

I learned to play Mahjong several years ago on my home computer and was overjoyed to find Mahjong 13 Tiles for my iPhone. This is a terrific app as all scoring is done automatically, and in-game instructions are included automatically for Chow, Pung, and Kong sequences. I give this app a 5 star rating! This is THE BEST GAME APP I have on my iPhone!
Real Mahjong, Not the Solitaire Matching Game!

I've wanted to play this for a very long time and am finally able! WOOT! The tab that shows you what possibilities you have is so very helpful, especially when deciding whether to take a Chow or Pung, or to Pass. The option for Discard Suggestion in the settings is also a great help for noobs and I would suggest you take its advice until you really know the game because there are some unusual combinations that are worth more points. As someone else said, there's definitely a learning curve, but I find I'm catching on fairly quickly. You even get to learn a little Chinese to boot!

Great for learning the basics of Chinese mah jong. But, I wish it explained the scoring system better.

The game has the rules listed and playing is super easy. Scoring system is explained in the help menu as well, which really helped me figure things out.
