Zero customer support

I agree with the reviews regarding their lack of customer support. I was left out in the cold waiting for two rides I scheduled back to back. It wasn’t until the first ride left (with half my family) that I was informed I could only schedule a second ride after the first was completed. What!? Then why did the app let me schedule them 10 minutes apart? Usually this would just be a minor inconvenience, but we were headed to catch a flight. Contacted customer service...I literally got no response. Good luck talking to a live person. They list a phone number that routes you to their online support...which is absolutely non-existent. Lyft, do better! Much better.

By far the most reliable and trust worthy service. They honor loyalty and are prompt with any responses or concerns. They review your comments on drivers and take it seriously. I love using Lyft. I will use no other service other than Lyft.

Used to love it until the update

Lyft used to be my life saver for getting to the airport for early morning flights. Now the feature is gone that allows you to schedule a future ride. What gives Lyft? Now I’ve been forced to use Uber unless you bring back this feature.


Lyft has improved quite a bit, keep up the good work!

I really liked Lyft-until they ‘updated’ their app. In the process they dumped my payment info, which is always great when you are literally on the fly, needing a ‘lyft’ and there’s no way to pay, unless you stop where you are and dig through your wallet in the biting cold because there was no heads’ up. Hello, Uber! The app is not as user-friendly as before. It feels like they are trying to imitate Uber rather than compete and innovate. Also, Lyft does not cover as many zones as Uber for me. My worst ride experience was on a Lyft with a nasty nasty car and a nasty driver. Maybe a little more vetting of their drivers?

I love Lyft and how much easier they make it to request a ride! Great app, great drivers, great cars, great experiences at every turn! And none of the baggage of that *other* rideshare.


Can’t add a stop

Since the last update to the new version, I can no longer add a stop. There is no option to add a destination.


Long time user, now annoyed

What the heck? Been a Lyft user for years now, and even liked the idea of the app updating to a closer driver if one is found. It wasn’t until I was at LAX airport waiting 10 minutes for a driver to make it back around to pick me up, where he is less than 5 minutes away, the app auto updated to a “closer” driver, who is now 15 mins away. Really?! The time and distance was twice as far away, how is that closer? This tool needs to rethink that math because it failed me on this ride.

Lyft has a bad habit of double charging accounts/ charging the wrong accounts even when specific accounts are selected. There's no calling number so when there's an emergency you have to wait a decent amount of time to receive assistance. As much as I would like to come on here and brag about the pro's of Lyft the cons Just overweigh them in every kind of way. If you ever have an issue with the double charging thing good luck receiving help. Also customer service isn't much help they barley reply. I think the most ridiculous thing is that you can't take a credit card off file, drivers love to start rides before they even start and we can't forget about how it seems Lyft takes the longer more expensive route to get you to and from your destination, most Lyft drivers act as if they don't like being directed either. if the bad customer service doesn't stop lyfts going to lose all of their customers including me
