Ventura county

disgruntled but not white

Are Ventura county drivers being ripped off?? I have never gotten any ride bonuses, the app doesn’t tell me the direction or how many minutes the ride is going to be beforehand, and surges are non existent now. Why are we being screwed?

Cancelled Rides?

.......))&&;:.;&(:(?!@

This is probably the easiest money I’ve made but please put a feature where the driver cancels the ride at the request of the person. I hate that individuals call and ask me to cancel and I hope it doesn’t mess with my stats. I could be driving and have to pull over because someone else wants to cancel. It’s annoy and I don’t want to be rude and tell them to do it themselves so can we please just cancel at their request? Can I refuse to cancel? If I do what will happen? How does canceling rides for requesters affect my stats?

Lyft Navigation GPS Airport Cell Lot Interface Breakdown

Arty C

For the past few years there major disconnect queue problems at both Palm Beach International an Ft Lauderdale Airport cell phone waiting lots . While waiting in airport queue for 20-30 minutes , a disconnect frequently occurs displaying “ outside queue” , moving the car reconnects then disconnects again displaying same message . Although in the cell lot , the blue square box lyft configuration is smaller than what meets the dimensions of all 4 corners of the lot. Hopefully , after 3 years Lyft will address this with engineering . Recommending an installation of a repeater wifi tower or micro cell installation in these cell lots to handle the accommodation of all the vehicles within the perimeter . Many drivers are being dropped from queues placed at the back of the line at re connection

Que

You need to adjust the app for if im sitting in an airports que. That I don’t want a ride outside of the que and is 10 to 15 minutes away and will only pay my base rate of $3.90.

Lyft help center, the worst experience

Driver4134

I’ve been with lyft since 2016 and this has been the worst experience. I just turned 25 and i would never recommend doing a rental, the assistance with lyft can never be right. Last minute they deny you because in the system it tell you you’re not 25 but clearly in your drivers license it says you are, then in their system it said i didn’t have a business license so i had to screenshot it to assistance help that in my files it’s been uploaded for months and it’s still good. Then one ride i spent over 30 mins, i dropped them off and swiped right that they were dropped off but then got another call and since i couldn’t cancel that ride the other ride was considered as one and now lyft assistance is saying I canceled my 30 mins ride one and is saying i won’t be getting paid for it because that’s what the system is telling them, when clearly it shows over 30 min ride. Honestly Lyft is not worth driving anymore, don’t even bother messaging lyft assistance because they’re not helpful.

Necesito el modo oscuro

Necesito el modo oscuro en la aplicación de chofer, es incomodo trabajar por la noche con el fondo blanco. Iphone 11 pro max I need the dark mode in the driver application, it is uncomfortable to work at night with the white background. Iphone 11 pro max

Horrible with drivers

Algebhardt1

I urge anyone who is considering driving for Lyft to reconsider. They are the worst with communication they are horrible with solving problems and in addition they make promises and then cheat you out of those promises like referral and bonuses. I was and have been a perfect driver for them with no complaints on my record and now I regret not jumping on the the class action lawsuit.

ALT SUGGESTIONS

Been driving for over a month now. I’ll preface that overall driving for Lyft has been maybe what I’d call a 4 star experience. I’ve sustained a 5 star rating, and absolutely love what I do! The app however — 3 stars on a good day. We need: 1. Apple Maps integration...Or something with turn by turn and compassing. Waze and google are seriously struggling and it’s costing me toll fees, lost rides, terrible reroutes, etc. Not to mention the apps themselves are terrible for turn by turn—the text is tiny, late, and unclear—all of which is a major safety hazard! 2. Increased privacy standards. Notably, call screening/silencing of a queued upcoming ride while I’m still finishing a current ride. It’s embarrassing and not to mention—if somebody tries to answer it—that’s an accident risk and breach of privacy if it’s on speakerphone (like most bluetooths are!). 3. Would be nice if we had more specific bidirectional feedback tools other than just “clean car, friendly driver,” etc., and a comment box for passengers. Instead of a comment box, maybe let us select stickers for them too? If they’re known for being rowdy, vomiting, habitual tippers (???), or evening forgetting items—they should get similar “stickers” so we know what we’re getting into! Or if they’re known for smelling like weed/other strong odors, then let us take note to let other drivers know beforehand! That’s an issue for some of us. 4. Let the driver add a stop in case we need to and the passenger has forgotten. Maybe we need to be stopped, but that way at least it’s getting added to the bill (if applicable). It backs everyone in the queue up, and wastes time. 5. Instead of flat rates all the time, we should incorporate bad weather/late night fees that GO TO THE DRIVER. I’ve had multiple people complain bc of extended weather related wait times that are completely out of my control. Frankly, I deserve to get paid extra for coming out at midnight on frozen roads to then drive across state lines!!! Ridiculous! 6. I love the 24 hour help chat. They do a speedy, great job! I hope they are getting specified commissions. Thank you Lyft and or the developers for reading this review—if I can be of any more help, please don’t hesitate to contact me! I want to be an involved member of the Lyft community!

If i could i would give them zero stars.

Lyft deactivated my driver account back in 2017 from false accusations. Someone, from my understanding, reported to them that I was in an accident while driving for them. Now, the issue is, instead of getting all of the evidence from both sides, they completely went off of the reporter’s words and deactivated my account. At the time they stated I was in an accident on the platform, I hadn’t driven with lyft at all in over 3 months because I didn’t have a vehicle at all because of life trials I’d been going through. My vehicle that was claimed to be involved in the reported accident had been repossessed already, so it didn’t make sense how I could be involved in an accident with a car I no longer had. This whole thing was just completely bizarre to me with how lyft handled this whole thing. I reached out countless times to try and prove my innocence and show that it was false accusations; however, lyft completely disregarded any attempt i made in trying to clear it up. This is by far the worse company I’ve ever worked for. They care more about the money than the employees and it is very disturbing and sickening. They automatically go off of the reporters words with no regard to the person they employed.
