Ok so it has been a month with reviews still a 1 star app. I believe lyft app would be a zero star if you could review that low. That's what I would give it. For the zero effort it has made to improve the app. If I was an employee somewhere and I was given a month to get my act together. To improve in some way to show that I still wanted the job and I made no improvements in a month would I still have a job.....? Yeah I don't think so. I would be fired. So I ask you lyft what's your problem? Do you just not care? How can so many people give this app a low rating week after week for a month and no progress is made? You have lost my business. I will be strictly for Uber here on out. I have been a fan of Lyft for 6 months. Telling customers the benefits of using Lyft over uber. However the last month or so has really been disappointing I have almost quit Lyft all together. This new app they keep pushing should really be looked at asap. You can only make money if drivers are using the app it takes a team to make this company work. I'm afraid to down load the new app sounds horrible. Looking to see the reviews change from 1 stars to at least 4 stars before I download it.

At times the app run well but sometimes the app shut down or froze for apparent reason even if I'm in a ride which could be frustrating for the driver and passengers well. I be getting ride request and accept it but then a few seconds later the ride would be and I would receive a call from the passenger asking what happen cause they got a new driver. For the future it would be best if the Lyft driver app support landscape view as well.

I really don’t know what the heck is going on with these people. The app never seems to work, it glitches, disconnects, and it even doesn’t let you go online or get offline because of an “error”, that means you have to cancel rides and get your acceptance rate down because it doesn’t let you go offline or you are missing out on fares because you can’t go online. Their passengers are always the worse kind, maybe lyft is cheaper than Uber but that’s why you’ll get stuck with drunks, kids, obnoxious people and the ghetto crowd. Also their incentives are a rip off they guarantee a certain amount but they don’t clarify enough to make you understand most of it will go to their fees. Yeah is on the fine print but then why word it the way you do and if we’re gonna make that amount in fares with the number of rides you request, why the need to actually promote it???? Lastly besides the worse crowd that uses lyft often you won’t stay busy anyway. Go with Uber once I started using them they keep me busy, they always add rides to my queue before I drop my current ride. DONT DRIVE FOR LYFT the only thing they were good for was the express pay which Uber started doing anyway.

I am a Lyft driver. I have to reinstall this up at least three times a day. When I notice I’m not getting any rides for about an hour… Then all the sudden when I reinstall it, it works again. On top of that the new navigation with Google maps platform, makes you scroll through the navigation to turn on audio and banners to let you know where you’re going. You have to do this every single time if you have an iPhone 8 like I do. I think it might’ve been worse on my iPhone 6. I don’t know what the problem is but they need to fix it this is ridiculous!

Ride requests taking too long.

It shouldn’t take 45 mins to get a ride request while on prime time. Makes no sense. This has been happening so much mind we WE FILL UP OUR OWN TANKS. So what makes you think I have gas to just be sitting and waiting mind you it says 75%-200%.

App continually crashes. Computer system does not efficiently find rides in the direction in which the driver is driving. There is no option to zoom to surge zone.

As a driver the LYFT app up to writing this review is very inconvenient for the drivers. I have some notes I hope you can take it into consideration when you update next time: 1- when the driver gets closer to the passenger pick up location why I have as a driver to click “arrival” then “ confirm arrival”. “Picked up” the passenger then“confirm the passenger pick up” That is FOUR Clicks, when you are on the road in the peak hours downtown it’s very inconvenient. Solution: The system should notify the passenger that his pick up arrived automatically. Then I start the trip. One click. 2- why Lyft application does not have integrated GPS software? 3- i’ve had multiple times problem with Lyft line. The GPS throws me way out of my route. 4- when I receive a trip why I cannot “deny”it. If I need to. 5- charges should be much more detailed on each trip.

Yeah. Cost to operate vehicle according to irs is 54 cents a mile. Pay for lyft. 60 cents a mile. And thats only when you have a passenger. You will do over three miles for every dollar you earn. You cant even break even with a dollar to mile ratio. Awesome. Haha. Its dropped in both lyft and uber from that which sustains actually doing it to what it is now, some form of twisted community service. I highly recommend that you checkout the uberpeople forums before using any rideshare app because there you will find the real empirical experiences and reviews. Lyft even had their own thread. The only thing lyft has going for it is the format of scheduled pickups. Thats how trip requests should be displayed when we decide whether or not we want them. Theres always a right person for the job but its always the wrong person tricked into doing it. Oh and at 6 cents a minute, it was awesome ditching people trying to go through the drive through. Best perk of this gig. Taco bell mode? Lol. What is this demolition man? Goh.

Pay is okay but too many glitches. They would send you a promotion like complete 10 rides in 6 hours and get $50 extra cash. You can be 2 rides left and they will give you a ride that’s long distance so you won’t get it. Also you can be in area where the surcharge is very high and they would give you a ride that’s 20 mins away, 7-10 miles away. Seriously!? It’s only good to drive on Monday’s, Friday-Sundays. Thurs are okay my suggesting is to drive when it’s busy. And also their customer service are good you can speak to anyone right away on like Uber
