Can’t hear the directions.

I have an iPhone 6s. The new transition from Lyft to google maps it’s flawless, but now I can’t hear the gps directions.

Keeps forcing to update

Great but need navigation update

For those of us who have iPhones we need a Lyft update to add the option of using”Apple maps” for navigation so it auto loads and we can use then on our onstar cars that have Apple car play

Too many steps

Tydollasayee

I’ve tried driving for Lyft and honestly I feel like the process involves too many steps. You have to open the Lyft driver app to accept a ride hen switch to the gps app to get to your rider and then open the driver app again to let the person know you have arrived and start the trip then go back to gps. Then once you get to the drop off you go back into the driver app and end the trip. It’s way too much. Uber has everything in one app. I literally accept the trip and it pops up a route automatically and lets the person know that I am arriving. I can pick them up and drop them off all on one app and I love it. Just make the process simpler.

A lot of issues

axm860

I’ve had a lot of connectivity issues lately. I waited 2 hours for an airport ride this week but then I gave up and left. It costed me $9 to wait! I drive full-time so when I don’t get rides, I get behind on bills. I emailed Lyft about a solution and I followed all of their suggestion but I’m still having issues. I had to start driving for Uber again even though I don’t prefer to. There app is better...

Thanks!

Don’t care about Drivers

BigJohnStud05

The customer service is terrible. The don’t really care about there drivers like they like to pledge they do. Your just another number to them. Rider pukes in my car they don’t care it’s on me. They looked into for 2 mind so they say. So not only do I get stuck cleaning it up and getting nothing for it, I also lose 2 hours of prime time on a Friday night. And then I get threatened by support on top of that. Stay classy!

$800 Lyft: RIDE782.

First of all, if you haven't taken a ride yet make sure you use the coupon "RIDE784" to get $800 off your rides!! Enter it right before you request a ride. Go to the Payments tab in the app and enter the coupon there. Might as well try it out since it probably won't cost you a thing!! The app is simple, easy to use and intuitive by design, giving you important info like the driver's face, phone number, and car make and model. It's amazing how quick and seamless the entire process is. A car comes to your door within minutes of pressing a button!!! The drivers are real people, they are very polite and their cars are clean! Some even come with complimentary water, gum and candy! Even if you want to charge your phone, a lot of drivers have phone chargers at your ready!! Lyft is definitely cheaper than your average cab. After all this, I don't see why you would ever use a yellow cab again. Even if you want to get a black car on the occasional night out, it's still cheaper and more convenient than hiring your own private driver. The customer support is also fantastic. I got overcharged on one of my trips and I didn't have to say anything more than a short comment on my driver feedback to get a full refund. I'm very happy and I hope Lyft continues to exceed my expectations in not only the app but customer service! I also prefer Lyft much more than other competitors, mainly because they have so much more supply and cars are always just a few minutes away!!!!

Love driving Lyft & using app

First, overall I think driving/riding with Lyft is far more economical than the alternatives. But, that’s not the point here, frequent updates to the app are very helpful to me as a driver. E.g. Google Maps integrated in the app itself, this feature makes me far more efficient and less distracted when accepting a request. A couple of things I’d like to see in future updates: 1. Declining requests. As of now, you can only ignore the request rather than being able to tap a button to decline. Adding this would decrease riders’ wait time. 2. Declining requests at airport FIFO queue. I hope Lyft considers changing the current state of declining requests in queue. Currently, if you decline a request you are sent to the back of the queue. While I understand the need for riders to get a ride quickly, sometimes it’s just not desirable for a driver to go on long trip. For example, maybe he/she has to pick kids from school in an hour and cannot do a 45+ min ride. Sending the driver to the back of the queue essentially GIVES Uber that driver. This is because most drivers in the lot are using both apps. When they’re sent to the back of the queue on Lyft, they will receive the Uber request before they get another Lyft request. Also, they can decline requests from Uber without being sent to the back of the line so basically it is guaranteed that Lyft has lost that driver to Uber at least for this trip. I prefer driving for Lyft, but I can’t sit around for another 1-2 hours for the next request when Uber will be pinging rapidly. Hope this helps :)
