Poor apps

Lorex makes excellent camera systems, just wish they would keep their apps updated. Will never buy another lorex because I cannot use the app to view my house. Don’t buy Lorex products. Read the reviews and see how bad they are.

Doesn’t work on LTE anymore. Waited patiently for an update to fix since so many of us are having problems but at this point I fear it isn’t coming. They obviously don’t care about customers once they purchase their cameras.

Hard drive and cameras still work well so updating them doesn’t make sense. Will have to if the software isn’t updated and would go with a different brand with a better reputation for updating the software. Please update!

I just moved to a new home and the previous owner had the system installed. Setting up for remote viewing was easy but the app is very slow on playback. I have super high speed internet and the playback takes forever to view a few seconds of footage. The features on the app are a bit confusing since there is no description as to what they do. You just have to play with it and figure out. Also i don’t seem te get notification when it detects motion. I’m glad i can see my house when I’m away but how do i know when something is happening if i don’t get notified? Even if i go back to check the footage, it’s still going to take forever to play it back one by one. The playback timeline only shows you a little line so you don’t even know which one is what?? Would be nice to show a small animated thumbnail on the timeline so you can choose. Will this be improved or do i just have an old system?? I have 6 cameras but I’m considering replacing them for Nest or Arlo.

I have an LNR360 and the hardware works perfectly with this app. No complaints at all. It would be even better if you could change various settings through the app, like recording schedule or motion detection zones etc. But the app does what it says. I especially like that you can take a picture of what is on your camera onto your phone! Reviewing recorded video is also very smooth (although that may be dependent on your internet speed both at the LNR360 and your phone).

Can someone from LOREX, please fix this bug??? I cannot select camera for me to view it. App reinstalled and still won't work. This app is ridiculous!!! UPDATE: Downloaded and installed on different iphone device. Same issue persist. Unable to choose/pick camera (the check mark will not work) in order to view to remote location. Does anyone else having this issue? Thank you!

This app haven't been updated since oct 2013, live viewing constantly freezes and you can only fix it with relaunching the app, annoying.
Constant memory issues

Using an iPhone 6 plus and constantly get the insufficient memory error which requires killing and restarting app. Disappointed that Lorex doesn't put same quality into apps as they do their cameras and recorders.
