Here’s what I thought this app was: Access books and movies and videos and whatnot in the language you want to learn! If you find good ones on other sites you can import them! Learning Spanish? Listen to pop songs from Spain! Read this article from this Mexican magazine! Etc etc etc Here’s what I think the app is (not sure because it’s such a confusing set up): There’s nowhere where you can choose the type or genre of media you’re looking for. There’s only a “feed” like a newsfeed of random... articles?! Liked by randos?? I’m not sure. When I click on them it shows me text in Spanish. But... there’s usually no context. It makes no sense. Maybe I’m not getting it or that wasn’t the point. But I think the app should add a search function or ask you what content you like or something!! The concept is really great, it’s execution is confusing. Feel free to give me tips devs

The app has been crashing a lot lately. Every time I click on a lesson it will load then crash every time. Not sure what the problem is. Please fix.

There are severe parsing/spacing problems with the Japanese language so if you are a beginner LingQ is not helpful because it will lead you to believe that everything highlighted blue is a word which it is not. It can also miss things that are really words that should have been highlighted blue. Only use if you are an intermediate/advanced learner and even then its a headache :-(

Everything within the app feels jumbled to me. It's like I'm on a mobile phone website almost. I really enjoy lingq but I mostly use it on my phone. I seem to have trouble picking up on some of my lessons. The old version felt pretty easy to make a playlist or browse through all your lessons with ease. I am a fan of the feed showing related things other people are doing and what not.

The previous version was fantastic. I cannot begin to find my way around the new app. Why, why, why?
