Latest update crashes on startup

DeHa532

LingQ is a great app, but the latest update is crashing on startup for me. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and I could get to the main screen, but it crashed again as soon as I switched to Japanese. So I can't review any Japanese on the iOS app. Please fix this!

It worked for 5 min and now crashes into the home screen every time

Great app

Titan504

Great app every language learner should use LingQ. I have been a member for 4 years, and I must say that app and the website have improved greatly since I begin using the site. Now it so much smoother and simple. Thank you Steve Kaufman and the team. And Good luck on your language adventures. - Mark C.

A very confusing Japanese learning tool

Halfmist

I downloaded this app to help me learn and practice Japanese. However, the problems that it gives me to translate are extremely confusing and not user-friendly. I worry about the authenticity of the translations because it builds on users answers. The beginning exercises are designed for you to tap on a word and then to select the best translation to it from your own language. But it doesn't always highlight all that you want to translate. For instance, I would try to tap on the word "にほんじん" but it would only highlight the "ほんじん" part of the word and would then say that the translation is "a person" which is not correct. It feels like I might develop bad habits with this app and I caution others to stay away if they were thinking of using it to learn Japanese. I cannot vouch for the other languages.

My favorite language learning app

The transcripted audio is a great way to immerse yourself.

What a great app!

AJPD1

This app really is stunning. I jumped in on the ground floor awhile back when this first came out, and it keeps getting better and better. I don't think I've learned vocabulary faster than when using this system. Good stuff!

Was great, so I bought a subscription.

Now it crashes when I try to open any lesson or create lingqs.

Dumb app!

You can't even continue until you pay so no point in having this app!

Great App

This app is great. Obviously not as good as the website, but you get the essentials. LingQ in general is great and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone that is interested in learning a language.
