My five year old can use it on his own. He says the word out loud, then plays the sound to check it. If he gets it wrong, he flags it and I help him later. Works great.

This is a very useful app. Being able to flag tough words makes this a hit for me. We set aside time to work on those by themselves. Would be great to be able to add more words to the app.

This is an outstanding app. I've been digging through free educational apps for my first grader. This app seems to work perfectly for him. It has everything that I would want. I love this so much I wish they would release a similar app with alot more words and maybe basic sentence reading.

Why not itouch compatible?

I much prefer to let my kids play with the itouch, but this app will not load on a itouch... Only on an iPhone. My phone is a nice backup if they need it, but like most iPhone users, my life now revolves around my phone, and I would rather they learn on the itouch. Aside from that, great app idea.

As a mom and a teacher I am constantly on the lookout for great learning apps. This is it! It is so much more user friendly and useful than the other sight word applications I viewed. I like being able to work with small groups of words and, even more, that I can flag particular words (which wasn't available other place I checked!) The sound quality and the overall look is great.

This is an awesome game and learning tool! As a mom and literacy tutor, I love it, and my five-year-old son loves it too and learns so much. The sound quaility is so much better in this app than other sight (high-frequency) word apps I've tried. Very nice work! I look forward to updates with more high-frequency words added.... like Fry's 1000 along with Dolch's.

This app has been great for my child to learn, especially when we are on the go. No need to fumble around with cards, when we just pull out the phone.
