Great Kid Application

Curt07

Great update, bright and easy to use with clearly spoken words. Great app to have on your phone and use with your kids running errands and waiting in Dr. offices. It's fun, keeps them entertained and educational all at the same time.

MAD USER!

OlaThue

It is very sad that a product get switch over to iOS7 and dump the support for any earlier versions. I mean after a few months of iOS7 being out we all need to run and by the latest Apple products. It should be required from Apple and common sense that support for at least iOS6 for a year or 2 more. Now I cannot upgrade due to I only have the latest iOS 6.1.3 on the iTouch.

Missing a word

It's not a big deal but I think "love" is missing from the list. Every word on my daughter's list that her teacher gave her is on here but not "love".

Perfect!!!!

Kirarus

A perfect app to assist my son in learning his sight words. Now I don't have to carry around flash cards in my purse! I also like that there are no ads interrupting his learning session.

Good, but could use some features

Dr. Yoda

I like the simplicity of this app, but a few features would make it more convenient. First, a search function or an index would make it easier to find specific words. Second, being able to create custom word sets allows customization to match class lists. Thanks!

Easy. Simple. Clean. Functional!

This app is very clean! Not too much overwhelming graphics and other unnecessary added functionalities. No annoying ads that pop up in your face every other minute like some horrible free apps. I just really love how it's so easy to use and have all the needed options. No more no les. You can tap on the word to hear how it read in accurate clear pronunciation. You can flag words that a child missed and go back to review just those words in the flagged group. The categorized groups of words by grades were not really necessary though. Should be done by Fry's frequently use order 1-50, 51-100, etc. It would also be nice to get to see the index (list) of words in each group. I really wish parents can enter the words for the child to read themselves too. (With no minimum). Create their own flash cards. Record their own voice for each word read. Please add this option in your new version and I will definitely buy the app! Still love and use this app for kiddo to review but will need to learn more new words :) wish I can input them myself.

Mistake in version 3.1.1

Bluffoowhy

The word “an” is pronounced as “in”. Please fix?

Well done

Nicely designed app with clean, minimal UI and no extraneous functionality.

Game Changer!

Our kindergartener has 10 Sight Words a week that she has to then. Just flag the 10 words and then they all appear in the Flagged section. The next week just clear the words and add/flag the new list and they are ready to go. They can start by hearing the word and then just turn off the voice in the middle of the week. Shuffle is important so that they don’t just memorize the order. Like I said Game Changer. I only wish that they would add a search field to find the next 10 words instead of having to look through the Pre-K, Kindergarten and 1st grade section.
