Good start

Love the teaching style of this app. Repetitions and reviews.

Weeb ?

Why can’t we write it how we want? Apparently I have to write う With the line on top

I love this app!!! ?

I absolutely love this app and it has helped me so much. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn’t teach you the stroke order for kanji. If I am going to pay for all of the lessons I want to learn the stoke order as well.

Excellent for Kana Learning

kilowattune

I was terrified of learning Kana. This app made it easy to Listen, Read and Write on the Ipad or Iphone. It has more features, however, I have not yet made it that far into the lessons.

Good lessons

Mikhel H

I really like the combination of matching sound with character, guided drawing of the characters, and draw the character prompts. I only wish the lessons had a randomize option - they’re in a set order which is good for first learning, but you have to choose review all to get it with them mixed up and that includes everything you’ve learned so far.

Excellent app for practicing written Japanese

awase123

Excellent app for practicing written Japanese. Very easy to use. Repetitive writing and reading of the Japanese characters on the tablet is much easier and faster than doing it on paper. And the app corrects mistakes and keeps track of score.

Gran app, el método que utiliza hace que se recuerde más fácilmente

I got this app, it was helping me a lot!!!! But when it asked me to pay it was SSSSOOO frustrating! Since it advertises as a free app!

Perfect App!

Sweetconiferous

This is a really thought-out app using multiple sensory types, such as hearing, seeing and touching, which maximizes learning and/or reviewing. It does a great job of monitoring progress and guiding you along. This is one of my favorite Katakana/ Hiragana apps, so far! Highly recommend!

I take back my words!

CallMeKiwidammit

There’s a bug in the first lesson that keeps cycling on the a and I vowels and the progress bar doesn’t move no matter how carefully I trace the characters. Edit: I’ll give it one more try being as the developer responded to my review. Edit2: The “bug” was completely user error! I gave it another try and I’m so glad I did! Well worth the price!
