Awesome thermometer, horrible app after update

I got my thermometer about 6 months ago and loved from the first time I used it! I used to think the app was ok, but I really liked the ease of sharing my kid's temperature with my husband while he was at works long with a picture of how the kids looked. I know there are other ways to do that still but it was just a very neat and easy way to share. I didn't realize it had updated until today when one of my kids is sick. I haven't been able to figure out an option of sharing her temp or even taking a picture, but fortunately my old data did not get deleted! Please bring back those options!

I love this thermometer and the ability to track everything through the app. I gifted one to my sister, who is a pediatrician with two kids, as well as my brother, who just had his first kid. Highly recommend to techie parents.

I love being able to track my temperature history in the app, and the integration with Apple HealthKit is extremely useful. This has replaced by old digital thermometer from Walgreens!

Really glad we have this app. Even our youngest, who at three, doesn't always understand sitting still during a reading, will sit still for this! The app had a screen of bubbles floating by that he enjoys "popping" while waiting. Everything has always been accurate, temperature-wise.
Bad product, bad company, scam

Bought a Kinsa thermometer from their offical Kinsa website. It turned out to be a defective item. The thermometer couldn't pass the calibration test. App didn't want to recognize the device at all. Contacted their customer service. The guy tried to have me work through all troubleshooting steps that I could already possibly have done and failed. The last email he sent telling me he's going to send a replacement and get the defective one back so his engineer will take a look at it. He wanted my confirmed address and I replied him right away on that day. Been trying to get a hold of the guy for the past 5 days and no response. Total crappy customer service, bad item. Total scams, you've been warned. Very upset that I lost my money to these guys. Shocking!

It came in the mail today, and after downloading the app, and then reading the one review, I was afraid to even try it. BUT I read all of the instructions before I did anything else, and when I felt comfortable, I went step by step and everything worked as promised! Set up my profile, and took my first reading. Love it! It will be going to Russia with us next week when we go on vacation.

Never buy this product with a sick child at home. I sent my husband to the store to get a thermometer we could use under my child's arm, in addition to our ear thermometer, and someone at the store sold him this product. It can only be used on your phone after a several step set-up process, there is no read out on the actual thermometer itself. Once set-up it never worked and gave me an error message every time I tried to use it. As a parent, when your child is sick and you want to know their temperature ASAP (or AT ALL for that matter) this is a terrible choice.

Bought a Kinsa Smart Ear thermometer at Target due to it's ability to link to Apple Health. NEVER WORKED A SINGLE TIME! Spent an additional couple of hours or more with their EMAIL ONLY idiots wasting my time. The sent another out as a replacement which TOOK ONLY A MONTH and it worked with Bluetooth exactly twice. Back to EMAIL ONLY SUPPORT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS CRAP PRODUCT!!!
