Cannot read articles/constantly being redirected to App Store

I cannot read articles anymore without constantly being redirected to the App Store for some crappy apps. It does this 4times in a row then a few minutes later the cycle repeats. Just to do this review I had to back out of all the apps already pulled up in my App Store. Deleting app. Not worth the hassle with so many other news apps locally.

iPhone 6, iOS 11 This app sends me to the App Store to download different apps. I’m assuming that these apps are paying KHOU to link to their apps in the App Store in advertisements. However, I am not clicking on them. I get sent to the App Store every 5 seconds without clicking on any links. I sincerely hope that this is not the way the devs wrote the App. Also, another feature I found lacking is the alerts. Whenever I get an alert for breaking news and I click on it, KHOU is pulled up and then an article with a link to the article I want to read is loaded. If I then click on that link I am directed to an in app web browser which loads the mobile version of the KHOU website with the article. Too much hassle.

Ads opening App Store on their own

I usually love the app for Local GPS radar, but now the App Store keeps opening on its own & going to whatever app it is promoting. I cannot check the news or anything. Super frustrating. Please fix this bug!!!

Interrupted 10+ times in one article

I used to go to this app daily. I loved it! No more! Now every time I try read an article it flips repeatedly to an ad for an app, making it nearly impossible to read the story. Beyond annoying. Fix it or I’ll delete your app.

I too started having this very annoying problem of App Store opening whenever I’m in KHOU. I can’t even look at a news article. This has to b a glitch. Am going to have to delete this news app

You like advertisement ? I don’t. This new version tricks you to constantly click on links and redirects you to other websites or apps while trying to read a story. Used to love this app. Some things are better left alone. Finding a new news app with less advertisement and tricky links.....

this app used to be mediocre, now it blows. it constantly opens the app store. screw this. you lost me. put something on your news channel about how you’ve fixed the problem and maybe i’ll reconsider downloading it.
