Sends me to the App Store – KHOU 11 News Houston Review

iPhone 6, iOS 11 This app sends me to the App Store to download different apps. I’m assuming that these apps are paying KHOU to link to their apps in the App Store in advertisements. However, I am not clicking on them. I get sent to the App Store every 5 seconds without clicking on any links. I sincerely hope that this is not the way the devs wrote the App. Also, another feature I found lacking is the alerts. Whenever I get an alert for breaking news and I click on it, KHOU is pulled up and then an article with a link to the article I want to read is loaded. If I then click on that link I am directed to an in app web browser which loads the mobile version of the KHOU website with the article. Too much hassle.
