Buggy apps, biased reporting

Often need to shut the app when it locks up trying to load an advertisement video — which is quite often. The articles are generally biased, and often times multiple articles focus on a central position or agenda they are trying to push.

The ads now completely lock up the app, I can’t read the story. Had to delete. I never had this problem before the update.

is when I ck KHOU for news & weather. Really like to watch Sherry on TV- she seems to enjoy her job & life in general. Sometimes the morning anchors spend too much time being silly but they do seem to like each other.

Site has gotten worse since ads started streaming at bottom. Erratic loading content.

It just sends me to the App Store for junk apps

This has become useless app for great reliable news. Every time it just sends me to some junk app that I do not want in the app store

I just want to read the news and get it over with! This app makes you run around like a Zelda game just to get to one story. Ads pop up randomly and you have to smash them to keep reading. Somebody needs to bring this app back to its former glory.

The update now allows the app to help itself to play ads while you're attempting to read the news. Ridiculous. Now, after following this app/ station for many years...DELETE!

It is much faster to go to the website than use their app. For some reason, when you get a notification on your phone of breaking news, and you click on it, you go to a page that literally has the exact same verbiage as the notification; then you have to follow another link to the story. Don't waste your time, they have so many ads that by the time you've opened the page to get the information, the tornado they were going to warn you about had already passed ( hopefully some place other than where you are). Why waste your time?

No matter where I am in the US KHOU 11 sends me updates on all emergency and non emergency info. When I'm away from home it's always good to know what's happening.
