Why am I getting notifications for sports scores every 10 minutes if the only setting I have on is for breaking news? Also why can’t the app play videos? It seems every “article” is just a link to the safari version of the article. So basically this app sends me endless notifications I didn’t ask for to links of articles instead of just having the article.

The newest version is worse yet again. It loads slowly, freezes and shuts down. They still shift the options around depending on the day or even the moment. I never know where I'm going to have to scroll to find what I want. Their radar used to be good. Now it doesn't enlarge anymore, making this pretty worthless. I contacted them about the radar and got the auto response. Never got a personalized one as promised.

Click on story, get barely anything and “to view full story click here”. I travel a lot and use news sources in different cities for various items, one of which is to get”security vibe” on what to be aware of, such as criminal acts committed. This info helps me to be “situationally aware”. Think about it. Re-directs are often done to gain customers info and cater ads to such actions they can track. Ads come with app I understand, but please give complete story, not a re-direct to pad someone else’s pocket. After all, with your app you reach outside normal broadcasting area along with your advertisers.

You're better off just going to your web browser to get the news. This app needs a lot of work. Videos hardly ever load properly and the pages are loaded with so many advertisements its frustrating.

Im from Chicago and Im used to a certain professionalism in news. I wasn’t able to find that in Houston local until i read a review on the abc 13 app which was horrible in my opinion. The user stated he was going to use khou 11. I followed him and I am very very pleased with my decision. So much information provided throughout the day. You can tell there is a desire to get the news out over ratings marketing. Ads are there yes, but you don't have to sift through them. Holding out my one star for iphoneX support - cause u know, it would be prettier lol. I definitely support this app for now as it is providing me with beneficial news and alerts throughout the day that ACTUALLY affect day to day life. KUDOS TO THE JOURNALISTIC INTEGRITY!

KHOU is 100% my *go to station* for news and weather!! It’s been amazing to watch the growth of some of the reporters/newscasters. Harvey was a horribly destructive storm that tried to break the City of Houston...good thing we’re Houston Strong! KHOU field reporters and crews went so far above and beyond. Literally putting themselves in harms way to not only report to those of us stuck at home what was happening in our city, but also saving lives in the process. Kudos KHOU! Keep up the good work!

I have used this app for sometime now and am still enjoying the presentation and layout of the material posted. Easy to use and great updates. Love it!
