I enjoy this news app more than any other app for news. It gives me a wide database to look for what I need information about and I’m able to have that data right in front of me any time I need it.

I’ve deleted the app. It’s progressively gotten worse. Too bad. I like the layout and content better than others. But it crashed constantly, the images of the videos don’t match up to the story, when scrolling down it jumps back to the top, and worse it freezes every time I use it. I deleted. May look to redownload in the future but for now. I’ll look elsewhere.

It’s an informative app to let you know if traffic is bad or something happened in Houston that’s concerning. However, you will find a lot of far left agenda happening which I don’t care about. I feel the same for the far right as well. Just report and keep your two liberal brainwashing cents to your self khou.

I like KHOU in general when watching TV, but this app has absolutely nothing helpful. No way to search AT ALL. The TV schedule is at the very bottom, underneath about a hundred icons of various categories. Really, this app isn’t good for anything. If you’re looking for a news story, just Google it instead.

This app drains my battery like nothing else. I spend hours a day reading other news apps on my phone and my battery lasts almost all day. This app will bring my battery from 70% to 15% in a matter of minutes. Aside from the performance issues this app is not that well designed. It is clunky and takes a while to load the full article. Although this is a review of the app and not the content from KHOU, which is available in other formats, I do have to say that the writing can be shockingly atrocious. Since KHOU is primarily a TV news station I can understand that they wouldn’t invest much time or effort into writing articles. However, some of the stuff they put out is not fit for a 6th grade writing assignment. Unfortunately KHOU seems to be the best free local news option in Houston, so I guess I will keep getting my battery sucked dry.
