Unlocking and locking has worked without issues so far. I paired with nest and that as a bad idea; nest works better on its own. It was difficult to unpair.
Have had for 2 years... spend you money on better tech

This had been a disappointment at best. Work sporadically. Locks door from my phone when I’m on the couch and my son walks outside he door. When it’s cold out the battery’s die or Kēvo is slow to open. Most of the time it doesn’t open the door the first time and we all have to unlock door from the app. Yes Kēvo Customer Service, I have adjusted, loosened, reset, calibrated and every other suggestion you have made but it’s still not functional.. you never offered to replace it so you obviously feel this is an acceptable representation of your product.

Definitely love the convenience of have the lock and the app working hand and hand. Just upped the security another notch with it.

It needs constant attention. Have to use the key all the time. This is a piece of junk.
Nice when it works. However it continually fails.

This lock repeatedly fails to work and I do not trust it whatsoever. Looking to switch to the NESTxYale lock ASAP. Waste of $200 and change.
Newest update drains battery

Since the update the location service stays in all the time. Needless to say to rapidly drains the battery. Update really made this one worse.
Only works about 25% of the time

A simply terrible experience. On iPhone at least, if this app is not the very first thing to use Bluetooth after rebooting the phone entirely, it cannot connect to the lock. Even with Bluetooth turned off and back on, Kēvo still fails to see the Bluetooth stack, and the phone must be fully rebooted in order for it to unlock my door.

Most times as I leave home or come home, and open the app, it hangs or spins. Only way to fix is kill the app and restart it. Seriously. Easier to use my key
