About Robert Budd:

Robert Budd is an RKC Certified Kettlebell Instructor, offering effective and efficient training. He creates completely original kettlebell workouts 5 days a week for his kettlebell classes in Encinitas, California.

Robert's workouts combine kettlebell training with the best of exercises from a number of areas, including: body weight (gravity) exercises, TRX, rowing, yoga, & pilates.

With a background in martial arts, powerlifting, bodybuilding, swimming, football, basketball, long distance running and Russian kettlebell athletics (Givroy sport), Robert knows how to program workouts to be safe, effective & balanced - to prevent injuries & overtraining.

Training with Robert and using kettlebells

I have personally work out with Robert and kettlebells for 5 years now and I love the way it makes me look and feel!! I have done his work outs through two pregnancy the first about 4.5 years ago and again when I was pregnant with my twins it was safe and I stayed fit!! I would recommend this work out to anybody but especially to moms who do not have a lot of time it is a total body work out cardio and toning all in an hour. So try it you will love it!!!

Through high school sports, college rowing, marathons, twenty years in the Marine Corps, biking and swimming, I have participated in all types of training programs. Until I started training with Robert, I never realized my full potential. These work outs have the intensity off cross fit but include static and dynamic expansion of range of motion and drive proper body alignment. Following Robert's techniques will help you achieve your fitness goals while greatly reduce injury risk from poor mechanics. My wife and I moved away from his gym, but outfitted our own gym and continue to train with Robert via his blog and videos. This app is an awesome opportunity, not to join the latest fad, but to get super fit for life.

We have a lot of kettle bells in my gym, and I always wondered how to use them. The videos here are pretty clear and look similar enough to basic movements I do now, so I think I'll give it a shot Monday. Thanks!

Videos are tiny and zero sound. Should have heeded the other reviews. Not even worth 99 cents when you cannot use anything.

This app has been an outstanding addition to my workouts. As an avid kettlebeller this app far exceeds many of the other workout apps out there. The amount of time and energy put into showing proper form is excellent and I believe would help both the beginner and those of us who might question one of our techniques. Thanks for sharing your expertise and I can't wait for the next batch of videos. Keep m' coming!!!

Just download and it really needs work. Videos stay small on iPad and you can't hear anything. Must have been a rush to release with no testing. Where's Apple when you need them? Don't buy until you see update fixing video/sound, I should't have ignored the other bad reviews. Sucker beware.
