Poor videos

More often than not, the videos in the new app no longer play...you watch the advertising and then nothing. You, reclick hoping to see the story, get another ad, and then nothing. Why do we bother trying to watch your news when all we get are ads? Worthless, and I am ready to try another station if this isn’t fixed. Won’t like it, but I will watch an ad only if I get news too!

This app never gets much updating on weekends. It also has the same old stories from weeks ago further down on the page. The news content is pathetic. Plus always showing updated news when there is a minor item they add. Get real news and keep it current on weekends.
Too much extraneous junk to be useful.

I use MyRadar for weather now. Too much going on in this app (that is there to get revenue for Hearst) than I’m willing to put up with. 30-second videos to see article/video that would take me 5 seconds to read. Vuz was worthless to me. I only want local news in this app, lined up titles for easy selection. When the ad videos started, I closed app, force closed it, forgot about it...to this day. I suggest you simplify it, returning to the pre-Vuz-pre-too-much-income-producing format. Then I’d use it, and you’d make some money off of me with fewer ads. The kicker: “This app may use your location even when not open, which can decrease device battery life” Even when I tell Settings “Never” allow location? Please answer that, developer.

Killer waist of time
purely a vehicle for ads. Stories from November still on app, it’s February. Ads ads and when you click a video you get a 30 second videos ad.

I really dislike the loud advertising I have to listen to before I can read news stories. It causes me to quickly shut down the app.

Not user friendly! Too hard to find weather. I liked being able to get right on it from the home page! Will have to find a different way to get the news and weather! Love you KCCI but dislike this new app!

Don’t tease the audience to wait for more details later. Weather is the most important story don't sell us on watching more news when we need to get the weather details and get on our way in the morning.

You don’t keep up on weekend news, story’s skip around a lot. Hard to follow , need to work on earning 5 stars

When prompted with the question would you like to rate the app the only active button is to say yes, forcing you here. I don’t like that. I don’t like that is asks a question but dictates the answer and only accepts the answer “it” wants. Not the first time this has happened but this time I’m even more annoyed.
