Hi all just stop using KAYAK I add my credit card information to book some Hotel and right after that I got confirmation and after two hours I got notes. My credit card was hacked. Stop using kayak at all. ?No costumers service. I can’t even call to kayak. NO MORE

I wanna get a flight for cheap, and all this is showing are expensive flights. They have no consideration for the poor who cannot be posting thousands of dollars for travel. Honestly this is discrimination. They only want to let the rich travel and see their families. UNFAIR

Misleading Amenities Information

The booking on Kayak stated the hotel allowed pets on request but failed to mention the hotel only allows service animals and is otherwise not pet friendly. I didn’t see anything through Kayak or the deal that said anything about only service animals. I ended up booking a nonrefundable room through Booking.com via Kayak and didn’t think I had to recheck the hotel policies on Booking.com or the hotel’s website. Kayak should have accurate info right?So the hotel wouldn’t make any exceptions and I doubt they’ll waive the cancellation fee and now I’ve wasted over $100 and might pay over $100 more for canceling for the chance of a refund via Booking.com. Very disappointed that I now have to inconveniently take the extra step in the future to check each hotel I book, before I book, about their pet policy if I use Kayak. Won’t use Kayak again.

Companies recommended are terrible.

I used to use kayak a lot. Recently they recommended a hotel company “Traveluro” I tired to book a hotel. I got a “error” message twice. I never received a confirmation or email so I assumed it didn’t book the hotel. I had to use another app to book. Well, I check my account and I had been charged TWICE with no confirmation number. Then I get a confirmation number 20 hours later! I get refused for one night but it’s been a nightmare trying to get my money back. I even called the hotel directly to explain and they said all Traveluro had to do was calll to cancel and they would approve. Traveluro has been giving me the runaround for 3 days!! Beware!!

Price Prediction feature is hilariously wrong

Your common sense is likely much more accurate than Kayak’s price prediction feature. It has let me down twice in the past year. The algorithm needs a lot of work, it seems.

I travel for work. Extensively. I am typically given per diem and want to stay somewhere that’s a good deal. Kayak was my go to for a long time. Showed reviews and lowest ossicle prices. For a while now the prices displayed are not correct. Once you try to proceed with the booking it says “the price is no longer available”. Look a couple hours later and it’s the same thing for the same price. I believe they have resorted to bait and switch tactics. Shame.
