The only thing missing is a large widget for travel plans, for the iPhone. It would be great to include the widget in my most used widget stack directly on my home screen.
If low price is a priority

Kayak has the lowest prices I could find. I think Kayak is going to be my favorite place to shop for air fares. Lodging and car rentals will be the next thing to find out about on this app.
Misleading Pricing

I don’t understand why the prices shown on Kayak are lower than the pricing shown when you click through the link!

I’ve used Kayak for many years, starting with the website. Best thing about it is the ability to indicate the exact date you want to fly, with the option to show up to 3 days + or - that date. The results are shown in a grid with the highest and lowest prices indicated. So when you don’t have an exact date in mind you’ve got a meta-search result at your fingertips.

Booked a hotel through Kayak and paid for it ahead of time. Got to my hotel today and they had no record of my reservation. I had to pay again and now have to try recoup my first payment. I mistakenly thought Kayak was creditable
