Easy and fun!!! The app is extremely easy to use and has so many great, cool features. I love how I can turn my light on and off via my phone and I also love how I can track the usage! Super awesome!! I can definitely tell a lot of creative thought went into this app. Well done!!!

This app and my smart plug have generally been great despite the fact that a recent update broke the widget for me for about a week or so. It was really annoying, but it seems to have been resolved at some point since then. I also love that they finally added IFTTT support a little while ago. Now I can have my lights turn on and off automatically as I come and go from my house!
Newest update (July-ish 2019) is amazing!

Yeah so I’ve been using this app with some light rgb light bulbs for about 2 years. The software was always ok and I had my issues with it. This newest update has changed my mind so much! The biggest improvement is it connects to the light bulbs instantly! Before it would struggle for a couple seconds and sometimes drop connection but now it’s instant and I have no issues with it! It makes this product soo much better than Phillips hue. It’s affordable, works amazingly and is actively being made better. 10/10 will recommend.

Bought two mini plugs things work ok, decided to purchase six more now the app keeps crashing. What a waste of money.
Widget had been having issues lately

For weeks now, the Kasa widget for devices - where you can turn individual devices on and off - has not been working. Even though in the app itself my devices are all available and are checked for use in the Widget Settings, when I try to turn a device on or off, it gives me an error “Something went wrong. Go to Kasa for details.” Note that toggling my Scenes on and off via the widget works fine still.

My device stops working on a regular basis and takes a hassle to set up on the app over and over. Every update causes this despite not fixing bugs. Very disappointed.
