What a crap app/site

Don’t get me started on the ridiculous password requirements, normally I’d just delete the app when case sensitive requirements come into play. However I wanted something on their site not available elsewhere. Next I try to check out. They don’t take PayPal nor amazon pay, but they do take Apple Pay. Sadly because their site ONLY accepts two letter state abbreviations as shipping addresses and Apple Pay has my whole state name for my billing info, it’s reached an impasse. Go shove it you morons, I’m out, there are literally millions of other retailers who wrote code capable of using zip codes or converting full state names to postal codes. What a retail genius we have here!

This app is easy to use. But lately, many of my favorite items are unavailable. Not as much variety as before. But the prices are good and fast delivery.

I find the app is easy to use and has a clean interface. Product pricing is reasonably competitive, with better discounts for multiple items (bulk). Product variety and availability is limited, but seems to be improving gradually over time. Update (04APR2019): The app still has a notably clean and pleasant user interface. But, realtime order inventory counts, at check out, too often do not match what the app shows when adding to the cart, with some orders getting delayed by days because of available inventory counting mistakes. With a few impressive exceptions, bulk product pricing, for things I need, is usually not quite a good as competitors’ bulk pricing. I’m consistently finding that the products are just not there when searching the app for many needed items. It really feels like the app’s end-users’ personal experiences (beyond visual perception) are not getting enough priority focus in the app's design plan. I’m not giving up yet, because the clean and pleasant user interface shows a capability and dedication to something with an intriguing unique potential.
Grocery Service

This review relates to the scheduled grocery service only. I live in NYC and have been a long-time Fresh Direct user. Have tried Jet’s grocery service about 10 times now. Prices are better than Fresh Direct but my main complaint is the packaging. My last order came with about 20 ice packs in plastic and tons of packing material. So wasteful and a hassle to deal with. Please adopt reusable delivery bags like the other big grocery services. App needs work too - confusing and not clear when you are searching or browsing just in schedules delivery grocery vs. the rest of Jet.com. Consider a separate grocery app? I hope the service improves. NYC could use a great alternative to Fresh Direct.

Love the brands they carry! (local NYC that I haven’t seen elsewhere.) Shipping is fast and I can schedule it at my convenience. I was skeptical at first to order fresh produce online but everything has arrived fresh and well selected. They also have quite variety of vegan and kosher products. On top of that, the app is a beauty!
