Jaguar’s Embarrassment

This app should be a complete embarrassment to Jaguar. It doesn’t always start the car. It also only turns it on a certain amount of times before it “times out” and says you have to start the car manually. The pre-set temps that you program it to start with do not work. My husband’s Ford app ALWAYS works! How pathetic. Jaguar you need to find another company to write you an app that works. You’re a first class car with a less than 1 Star app! You have tons of complaints about your app...yet nothing is actually fixed. How embarrassing. You should be ashamed. If you can’t get it together with remote start 2.0. Then go back to the basics and build it in to your remote. I shouldn’t have to go outside in below temps to start my $90,000+ car. Unreal. Figure it out!
Does not work

Very unreliable. Does not give accurate information. Shows door open. When I check the doors are closed. Accuracy of vehicle location does not exist!
UI needs a major complete redesign

Have not had any issues with the app but the UI needs some major improving. It looks really cheap and outdated. Jaguar can afford to get an app designer to redesign the graphics and overall quality of the app.
Worst App I’ve ever had!

Will not open on IPhone 7plus for my 2017 Jaguar F Pace. Totally failed app. 10/24/17. 10/30/17. Worst app on out there. I can never get it to even open. 02/13/18 Jaguar should be ashamed of themselves for having a useless app associated with their brand. It’s ridiculous how bad this app it. It hasn’t worked in a year. 3/13/18.

Having to use this app to remote start my fpace is awful. Who ever thought this was a better idea than having it the key needs to think again. It’s very inconvenient by the time I get it started with the app I’m already at my car. Worthless. Half the time I have to sign in again over and over. I really hate it. I would think twice before buying another vehicle with an app to remote start
Doesn’t work anymore

Keeps saying my window is open and will not start the car anymore. The window is definitely NOT open... I’ve deleted & reinstalled a couple of times- same thing.
Crashes upon opening

Was happy with the app before and used it to lock my car from afar when I had accidentally left it unlocked. Now, the app crashes upon opening. It’s 100% not working.
Frequently inaccurate

I like the idea of having information available at my fingertips to see whether I remembered to lock my FPACE, but it’s not worth the stress caused by the frequent inaccurate information shown on this app. On multiple occasions (10+) it has shown “status unknown” with windows down, door open and trunk open. The first few times I’d run to the car, assuming it had been broken into to find it was fine - completely secure. Now I don’t bothering checking the app at all. The remote start took several attempts to get to work. Don’t bother calling the service line to reset passwords - they either can’t or don’t know how to do it for you. I’ve used it a few times, but when you open your door the car turns off which is a bit odd. The other annoying part is that you can not reset the passcode, and it’s the most complex passcode that boots you out every so often that you have to look it up, copy paste, then log in, adding a solid 30 seconds onto your use of the app. Why it can’t be integrated into the phone’s passcode, or allow the owner to reset, I don’t know. Overall, this app creates stress with the infrequent accuracy of vehicle status. I don’t recommend downloading it.
