I today’s tech-driven world, it blows my mind that Jaguar would have such inferior apps/technology! I’m on my second XJL, the app has never worked properly with either vehicle. It is absolutely ridiculous!!! ??

Just purchased my first Jaguar. Love the car love Jaguar so far. Downloaded app.. piece of garbage. No offense. I normally don’t write reviews. But I have to on this one. Please app developers at Jaguar update this app so it is better looking more functional and quite frankly luxurious because after all you are a luxury car manufacturer. I just moved over from Volvo. The app comparison is mind blowing. Volvo feels 2020 Jaguar app feels 1990. Take some concepts from Volvo and other luxury car brands and upgrade Jaguar app to reflect that. Please. Developers.. read reviews your app is pathetic. 1.8 stars.

2017 XE. App has always been near useless. 1. The initial popup ‘please note’ annoying. 2. Security status, rarely gives correct statuses. 3. Auto start, less hassle to go to the car and start it. — Two things that it does well , fuel level and trips. I don’t understand why it can give you fuel level instantly but everything else takes forever or is inaccurate. But really pretty pathetic for the class car. But I suppose I didn’t buy it for the mobile app I bought it for the vehicle and the fact that jaguar are not a dime a dozen on the road.

I can’t understand why this app gets so many bad reviews. In my case it connects and updates in about 10 seconds and is responsive. Sure, I get an error in remote starting maybe 10% of the time because of a network error... but since the app shows you when the vehicle is started, if it doesn’t work just cancel and try it again. It works the vast majority of the time on my second try. I blame most of the failures on my phone’s switch from Wi-Fi to LTE, since nearly all of my “network failures” have occurred while I was walking out of the building from work to my car. Overall, this app works just as well as my experience with the Jeep UConnect app I used on my previous Grand Cherokee, but it provides much more information in the process.

I returned my F Pace to the elsewhere agreed the end of my lease period. A year later i get a maintenance email that i can’t unsubscribe to without opening the Remote app. I open the app and I still have complete access to the car - it’s location, fuel levels, mileage, ... I can lock and unlock it on the app, start it up, turn on the a/c or heat remotely. I could really, really mess with the new owners. Completely unacceptable security provisions. (Btw, right away I called Jaguar USA, waited on hold, etc. to get them to manually remove my access to this car - and I didn’t mess with the new owners.)

This App never works when you need it too. It tells me my car is unlocked when in reality it is locked so I’m Freaking out thinking my vehicle was stolen or broken into and again in reality it’s not. My vehicle never starts when I need it too. So frustrating! Do better Jaguar!
