Great earbuds bad app !!!

fbicking

I have to start by saying I love the Elite Sport Earbuds. So much so I purchase a second pair with the updated longer battery. My problem with the app are many. -First no Apple Watch integration. Would be nice to glacé down on a run. -Second no just track me for weight training. -Third no Health Kit support. -Fifth no ability to turn off heart rate when you just want to use the ear buds. These buds are great and block a lot of noise so they are great for working in the yard. Would be real nice to disable the heart rate to extend battery life. That all said they are a great piece of tech that just needs more time spent on the app. The earbuds I would give 5 stars all day long. Just not the app.

Un just received a email about new EQ feature???

P1MPB0TT

I updated app with latest update to adjust EQ. I also received a email stating its live on the app. Seems like EQ feature does not exist unless you have to input a code to u lock the feature??? What up with that!

Kind of useless app

riguy101

The headphones are good. The app seems very pigeonholed towards specific activities. I just bought for lifting weights and my cardio. It would be nice to just have a basic screen that tracks my heart rate (and calories) for the duration of the workout without specifying an activity. Also several times it has run down my phone battery because the app doesn't stop tracking a workout until you select stop. Even though my earphones are off and not connected.

Headphones Disconnected

Dummy Rummy

Out of the box, the app and earbuds paired and everything was fine. 1 hour into use, the app no longer recognized the earbuds. It reads "Headphones disconnected" under Headphone Settings. I've gone through the pairing mode several times and the app does not connect even when I hear an audible confirmation on the earbuds the they were in fact connected. So I can use the earbuds for music, but HR and all the settings in the app aren't there for me. Very disappointed.

Outstanding in-the-ear phones. App deleted

Need American English Accent

Flaherty34695

In America, trying to understand a British accent is terrible- especially for number pronunciation. That defect should be fixed NOW. IF YOU FIX THIS FLAW, MY RATING WILL BE IMPROVED. I'm FAR FROM THE ONLY PERSON COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS OVERSIGHT. TAKE A LESSON FROM FUJIFILM WITH THEIR CAMERA SOFTWARE. ADD FEATURES AND IMPROVEMENTS TO YOUR EXISTING HARDWARE. ONCE THEY ADOPTED THIS APPROACH, WORD SPREAD FAST AND SALES WENT THROUGH THE ROOF. HECK, MY X-T1 Camera was improved so substantially, they had to write a new user manual to cover all the new features in their many firmware updates. Learn from that and you will sell your high-end products like crazy and your brand name will mean something. Take care of your existing customers and they will be loyal to the Jabra brand.

Great Sound, but...

Sarge830

I just picked up the Jabra Elite Sport today and the sound quality was great. I am in the US Army, so I have to stay physically fit and that is what brings me to my next point. I would like to pair my Jabra workouts with Apple Health. I use other apps for lifting weights at the gym and it just makes things so much more simple when it auto syncs with the Apple Health app. I will update this with a five star once I can use the Jabra app with Apple Health or any other fitness app for that matter.

Doesn’t connect to headphones in ios11

JoshuaMachine

Most basic function doesn’t work in iOS 11. Completely useless until an update is released.

Good Sound. App needs update.

Overall, the headphones are great. The app, is a different story. I would absolutely LOVE to see it on Apple Watch, the VO2 Max test not fail (going on 2nd time running now at 15 mins, to not work), more diverse workouts, visually be more crisp, and sync with other health tracking apps. So, once I see all of that, it will earn my 5 stars.

Pulse Heart Monitor Disconnected in this App

Pax43

Oct 6 2017- Pulse Heart Monitor working Great in other Apps such as Under Armor Record, but not in Jabra Sport Life. STRANGE!! Working with Support, but I do see that others have been seeing this for some time now. Error is DISCONNECTED I generally have been using UA Record or MapMyRun — Jabra Heart Monitor works great in those Apps, which is strange in that they are using the same Jabra Firmware, strange that Jabra has not fixed issue yet. Current releases are: iOS 11.0.2; Jabra Firmware 4.4; Sport Life App 3.4.0(3.0.4.2) as seen Apps About Jabra-Please Fix Comments below from 2016 I was an idiot, my original comment was incorrect: [original comment] For some reason since last update, the app stopped sharing into Apples Heath app. It has been working Can not find anything in settings regarding this sharing loss UPDATE: I posted The above update after talking with Jabra support, they could not tell me how to get it to work. But I figured it out, I just needed to reconnect the additional Jabra PULSE Smart Bluetooth setting, along with the Jabra PULSE a3.8.0 under the iPhone Bluetooth settings.
