“We’re always listening”

“We’re always listening”, sounds a bit creepy. No?

Needs better documentation

It's like every question I have I can't find answers to. Where's the explanation how devices get to share their common database? How is syncing setup? How does the phone app differ from the computer version? Seriously needs work.

Don’t know where all the five star reviews come from

I’ve used Blur since it was DNT. It worked great on my PC up until recently when it wasn’t in step with the Firefox new versions, but even that eventually was sorted out with sparse to no help from Cust Serv. Then the IOS app!! It worked well up until this latest update and now I don’t even recognize the app, or the alien language the logins and passwords are in which renders it absolutely useless. If you do get a response from Cust Serv they just push you too upgrade to premium for better Cust Serv.... Why would I upgrade to the paid version when the “simple” free version isn’t functioning as it should??

Best privacy app - 5 stars

Blur is the absolute best app for anyone and everyone. Masked emails have ELIMINATED spam from my life. I love having my accounts and passwords synced across all my devices! Blur is amazing. Highly rated from this privacy advocate.

Tap to login is pretty useful

Been a long time Blur user, waiting patiently for a big iOS update— this is it! U can now log on to WSJ on my desktop computer just with my fingerprint on my phone. 2fa everywhere! Nice.

Great app. It's seams to function smoothly except for a couple minor bugs that crashes when you exit out of the browser, other that that good job guys!!!

Update Feb 2018: Why use Blur? It s a very good app. If you are hesitant to be bombarded by crap emails when you reply or request info from various sites, Blur is for you. Their masked emails simply work every time. You will never have to deal with spam using Blur’s masked emails. If you want easy and secure access to non critical passwords, Blur is quite helpful when using their browser. It does not always seem to work well with other iOS browsers. Tracker blocking seems quite good, and you can see who you are blocking. Why don’t I pay for premium? If you pay 5$ to every single app, website, or whoever that requests it, you could end up paying 1,000 a month to browse the web. I don’t like that. I know it’s easier for them, but not for me. I have an app that says send us some money sometime if you like our product. I do this without fail, and it ends up being more than 5$ a month. Try this approach, and I’ll send some money. Two things you can do to improve. Add a one click tab adder. Why do I need a 2 click for common function. Allow me to send masked emails directly. OLD Input: Really pleased with the functionality and ease of use of this app, especially with the advent of the safari extension for iOS. Unfortunately I just realized that I will not be able to sync without paying 40$ a year. Seems a bit expensive for this feature. I realize there are other features included in premium, but I do not need them at this time Still a superb help for internet land.

Great app

Just what I needed to keep all my online information safe and sound. A must have for anyone concerned with online safety.

Cannot Do Without It !!

Blur is a ‘True’ Privacy Suite, including a masked phone with your own untraceable phone number that you can use to allow or block callers, make encrypted passwords that you can use to save to log in to saved sites, generate ‘masked emails’ that that hide your identity, and a private browser that nobody can see ! All of this and more, plus it syncs with all of your devices and best of all, it’s ‘all’ encrypted so your information is safe. Everything is easy to use, and the Customer Support is ‘Fantastic’. I’ve had this app for years on my iPhone 6 and MacbookPro, and I can’t imagine being without it. The Blur Folks are ‘Geniuses’ and constantly make ‘Upgrades’ to the Service and updates to the app. For the good of the customer! Ed In The Mid West

Blur is a great service. App needs some UI lovin’

I have been an avid user of the Blur service and iOS app for a long time now. Both service and app are solid and I have had no major issues. The only things I would like to see are some “love” given to the user interface (UI): 0. Ask an experienced designer with strong typography and UI skills to take a look at current app and get some feedback. It would make it far more usable. 1. Ability to change font size (tired old eyes don’t like teensy fonts) 2. Ability to display font or username of masked accounts without having to go into edit mode. Also they need to be displayed larger and unambiguously. (Ex. LastPass iOS when showing passwords uses unambiguous font; and letters, numbers, and symbols all have different colors, which makes reading them very clear). 3. When displaying masked card, displaying it like a card is easier to look for the exact info you need. (Ex. Spaces between the number groups would be a big help). Again, zero complaints about service and support. It is excellent. Give the iOS app a little UI love and rating goes to 5 stars. (And I think new user adoption would increase as well.)
