Can’t open the app

pylw

The app keep crashing after the latest update.(problem remains after reinstalling the app)

Great service

Hoochalaffa The Great

I bought in to Blur as a service when looking to replace my then password manager. With the added service of masked emails, which blur seems to be the only one I can find, with password management, I can’t imagine using another service unless this one ends support and development. The iPhone app has become better over time despite the limitations inherent with iOS’s security practices.

Great product for someone wanting to minimize their digital fingerprints.

It’s the best way to help minimize your digital footprint. They really have made it simple and great for those that want to minimize their Digital footprint.

Exceptionally great idea. Exceptionally awful execution.

Very few things work. Something like verifying a card has to be done over ten times and still is nonfunctional. Design is confusing and ugly. There’s not much to recommend here.

Good, but not great

Blur affords access to a service that is, unfortunately, essential with the email masking and does it for free. The interface, though, is, to me, super clunky. Partly because of its clunkiness and partly because I have other apps and solutions that I’ve been using comfortably and reliably for years, I haven’t explored much beyond the email masking. If that’s all the app did, I’d be fine with it. And, to be honest, I’d prefer it. It feels cluttered and awkward to have all the features in the single app instead of how some other developers have more of a suite of apps that can work together. I won’t use the browser because it’s not a standalone browser. Same for the password manager. It doesn’t seem like all that much, but it’s extra layers of stuff to get to what is already a couple of extra layers. I would consider upgrading to the paid tier if I could generate fresh phone numbers at will, the same as the email masking, but it looks like it’s limited to just a single number. But, I also don’t know how much of a logistical, legal, or financial complication that would be. Ultimately, I highly recommend this app. It’s not the prettiest or easiest to use, but it gets a job done and seems to do it solidly when it comes to the email masking.

Used for years

True3333

I like it but it needs a great deal of improvement. Logs you out often, doesn’t sync with other device quickly (takes forever-manual sync does not work), there isn’t a NOTES link, that is all kind of quirky. When logged out, how does one login without passwords....strange. But I love their overall security and privacy focus, would rate higher if it solved major impedances to service

Valuable service, clunky app

Swamp Doctor

I have found credit card masking to be very valuable in fighting online credit card fraud, but The Blur App browser is awful. The cursor jumps around at random and the option to use masked credit cards shows up only sporadically when checking out. I’ll stick to using the browser add-on on my computer.

Please add support for screen readers such as voiceover and talk back.

You need to add alternative text to all of the buttons inside of the app for it to be accessible for those like myself that are visually impaired or blind.

“Let's get one thing straight. I'm not bright. Big words confuse me. I have the attention span of a rodent, and Wanda loves me anyway. And that should be enough for you.”

[Bug fixed]

Pixelated_Prophecies

Probably due to the most recent update, the app instantly crashes as soon as it opens. Edit: The Blur app is functional now and the bug was fixed.
