Have used on laptop and always pleased. Now great on phone too!

The more I use this app the more I find wrong

Frankdog51

Very poor iPhone integration. It straddles my MacBook and iPhone more than syncing between them. It is just OK on MacBook and nearly useless on my iPhone. I am not going to upgrade. This app has some innovative features but overall misses the mark for consistency. Sometimes it works. Most of the time it either shuffles or fails on the phone. Why can't anyone make a good PW app?

Five Stars

People just don't know how to use this amazing customizable app. It syncs across all devices and browsers except Pale Moon, which is pretty much useless. You can copy a password from your iPhone and paste it into your iPad or any browser or Safari page. It doesn't have the following of some others but customer support is outstanding and very fast. Indispensable. Great app

Buggy

This software does not drop in the username or password. Always behaves as if you are logging in for first time. Another words will not sync. 1) When using Blur IPad App it crashes when inputting ID site data using Safari inside App. 2) When Selecting ID info from Blur pop up to input into applicable fields the App will abruptly close. This crash will happens in every instance regardless of site. 3) I have explained the best I can in writing. Screen shots would be useless. Nothing to see. There are no exception flags. You need to get yourself a IPad and do thorough bug testing. Or, Give me a phone number to the developer, AKA programmer, and will be happy to go step by step with him. Hello Robin, iOS Ipad Pro version 10.3.1 , Blur iOS is the latest available at the Apple App Store, version 7.4 April 6, 2017 update. I had no problems with the previous Blur version. A bug was introduced during code changes. My advise is to find that software bug. All sites I attempt to input user/password via this buggy Blur update causes this version of Blur program to exit. Not so with previous version. To Robin 1. Yes it is the "Safari Blur private browser" 2. There are no spacific sites that logon is a problem. it happens on every site needing user/password Bug 1: Using "Blur Safari private browse" the blur program exits 100% of the time "whenever" the "logon option" is used with Blur predefined user/password without exception. Bug 2: When you tap the user field the "login option pop up" menu will not appear 90% of the time. What does appear is vague slim vertical bar. To me the vertical bar indicates that the "logon option pop up" did come up but without the "login option pop up" window menu being displayed. I have leave the sites a few times to get the logon option menu to fully display. I noticed in my previous emails that I was not being precise. My apologies. I will make a consertive effort to be clear so to keep confusion to a minimum. In short, keep to the point. To Robin I have this gut feeling that the two bugs may be related since both are associated with the same end result? Glad to have that cleared up! Now, since from the video I shared you can see that it's working for me, I'm going to need more information from you to find out what the difference is between our setups. Specifically: 1) what site causes blur to crash? 2) are you logging in, or registering? 3) when you login, are you using your email or a username? 4) when you login, do you tap on the email in the dialog that pops up (like I did in my video) or do you go through another flow? Essentially, I want to duplicate your steps on my ipad to hopefully get it to crash. Then, once it crashes I can fix it, which is ironically, the easy party. Thanks in advance for the details. -Robin Hey Robin, 1. ALL sites that requires logon 2. Logging in 3. Email or masked email 4. Tap on the email in the dialog that pops up. (If it pops up) I noticed that when the Blur App is removed from the IPad it is apparent that not all local IPad data related to the Blur App is deleted. For when the Blur App is reinstalled it shows that it still is Logged-in at the bottom of the first screen when the App is initially opened after re-installation. Not good if the old data from previous installation is retained for it could cause conflicts and prevent App from doing a clean reinstall? Do you agree with my analysis -Dennis

Your app has allowed me to convince my family to use unique username/password combinations for each site's and application's authentication challenge. Making personal security more user friendly without sacrificing effectiveness is a goal of every practitioner in my field. Thank you.

Doesn't Work

kdenton65

Blur app doesn't work at all on my iPod Touch or my Android phone.

Great service, but data doesn't transfer

Dhddhtds

Kind of ruins the point if all of your passwords and everything you have saved on your computer browser doesn't transfer over with your account. Otherwise, if your just starting it, and use your phone for most online activity it would be good for you.

Wouldn't Be Without It!

I have been a dedicated and enthusiastic user of Blur for almost 3 years. They generate great passwords, and remember them for me. They provide me with "disposable", one time use masked credit card numbers, which charge to my real credit card. They also provide masked email addresses for all those pesky "sign up here so you can view our merchandise" screens. Then if that email address gets sold to spammers, I can simply turn it off - no more spam from that address! I really can't say enough good things about this app - and it works flawlessly on my Mac, iPads, and my Android phone without so much as a hiccup when I change from one device to another. Yes, you do have to learn how to use it, which is very easy. But the payoff in increased personal security is more than worth it. Oh, one more thing - they also generate masked phone numbers that I can give out instead of my real phone number, and these can be turned off as well. And no, I wasn't given anything free to write this - it's just an honest review of a GREAT app! Thank you, Abine!

Thumbs up

I'm glad I have it. Works smoothly from web browsing to app.

iPhone 7 Touch ID to login is no longer an option

MBP15'L12

I've used Blur for years and years always been a really great product, the main issue is that I can no longer login to my mobile blur app just using my Touch ID.. Hopefully this will be fixed asap
