Instagram is showing more ads and cramming as much content onto your feed as they can, reels, suggested content that has little to do with your actual interests. The controls and settings are becoming more confusing and less user friendly. It’s slowly becoming As useless as Facebook, more about what content Instagram is trying to push rather then a pleasurable, personal social media experience.

What is this new layout and update ????? No one sees your posts unless it’s sponsored or you’re famous. Literally unable to reach anyone. Fix this wack issue

This app is a train wreck for posting content and adding captions and getting attention. Between the app fighting you and the inability to add certain captions or tags at certain lengths, good luck to you posting what you want to the right people at the right time. What a joke. Get tik tok instead

Stuck in a loop on my pet’s account

It cannot get past the “enter your birthdate” screen to access the account I have set up for my pet. I have tried everything I can thing of but it will not let me log into that account! I have been on multiple devices, removed and reinstalled the app, read through the help section, but nothing works. I can’t even find an email address to ask my specific question. Hopefully they read the review and reach out to me. Until this is resolved, the poor rating will remain. Thank you.

Never shows my friends anymore

I’ve been a member since 2015 and now days IG doesn’t even show my friends accounts anymore. It’s just ads and 3 day old posts from titan pages with tons of likes that dominate the algorithm and therefore for my feed. I tried to unfollow some of these titan pages to see my friends stuff again and I just got spammed with more ads for doing it. I miss the old days of only seeing my friends posts in chronological descending order & an explore section that showed faces I actually recognized from my life.

Multiple times I have reported an account that posts pictures of underage persons in revealing clothing. The purpose of the account is the satisfy the arousal of persons sexually interested in children. Despite reporting over 100 different posts, Instagram/Meta has not removed the account. This is unbelievable in this day and age.
