Lock, Can’t Unlock

Locked my new QX80, using the app. Now it won’t unlock. Tried several times. Very poor technology.


False Advertisement

Any Infiniti that is claimed to work with InTouch services does not work, nearly as advertised or offered. This application crashes constantly, severely hindering the user experience for a feature that you pay for that is supposed to one with the vehicle. Would NOT recommend if you are a technology person.

Used the app to lock/unlock my car while at a party and didn’t want to take my entire purse inside. App worked to lock my car when I got there and unlocked when I was leaving but I didn’t walk to it fast enough and wouldn’t unlock again. It has “failed” we bet 20 times. I had to call a locksmith to open the doors. It’s the next day and I STILL can’t get it to work. No point getting this app because you can’t trust it work.


The app is useless, as is In Touch

This app works perhaps 10% of the time. When it does, it takes up to a minute to lock or unlock the car remotely. You will never feel secure that the function worked. In Touch service is a complete waste of money, adding no single feature that your phone cannot already do. Infinite tech lags the industry. Do not expect anything from this service.


Terrible app terrible service

The server went down while we were at a birthday party with our two kids. Locked the car and the. Went to leave and unlock the car and could not get into our car. Call the service and was told server was down. Asked what we were supposed to do.. no help transferred several times . Sat at the place almost 2 hours waiting for help. Finally got someone to go our house and get the spare key.. crazy


Does not work with 2020 Q50

Dealer told me I could remote start,stop,lock,unlock,set speed alerts,track vehicle with gps. This is all false they lied. I called customer service they said this will not work with a 2020 Q50. They also stated they get multiple calls a day on this issue. The dealers are misinforming the customer. My dealer is giving me the run around. It’s amazing that my 2015 Chevy has better technology than a 50k Japanese luxury car.


App stinks - Unreliable

I recently traded a 2018 Wrangler for a Q50. Both vehicles have this same remote app technology. FCA’s U-Connect system was reliable 99% of the time. Infiniti’s app fails 75% of the time I try to use it. Will not be paying for this service when the 12 month free trial is up. What a waste.

Just leased my sixth Infiniti and I can’t get over how they have yet to improve the technology for their vehicles. I can’t utilize this app for anything. Thought I’d be able set a notification for valets etc however this app doesn’t work.

So I had a 2017 q50 and loved this feature especially during winter months so car could get warmed up. Collected my new 2020 q50 this week only to now be told it isn’t supported. This seems like Infiniti is going backwards. 60k car and you are removing features instead of adding. Waste of time application

I purchased a 2016 q50 and activated the service at the top premier package. To date Google Calendar feature does not work and I have linked my google account to it as requested, when I use the InTouch mobile app it does not locate my vehicle all the time it tell me that my vehicle can not be located. My SOS button in the car deactivate on occasions. For a high end luxury vehicle their technology is sure on the low end. I have been dealing with this issues since November 2019 every time I call the answer is the same, there working on a fix/update to the system they even told this to the dealer when I took it there to be diagnosed. Then I should not be charge for services until your fix/update is released. If I could give a negative star believe I would give them a -5 star rating. The car is great but their technology is lacking in all forms.
