Company got to greedy

Applets just stopped working

nepenthedream

When I first downloaded this app, everything seem to work fine. I just wanted to create a geo-fence to activate or deactivate my cameras when I’m entering or leaving my neighborhood. And a couple other applets. For some reason the applets just stopped working. I have tested and verified that it is connected, removed and created applets again, but it just doesn’t do anything. So now what, I do not want to pay for an app that doesn’t not work.

Bait and switch

owenboen11

All of my home automation broke when they rolled out the paid tier.

Completely trash company

TtylerT

Have users build their lives and smart homes around this app then hold us hostage to lose all of our service if we don’t pay monthly. Complete BS! Never hated a company more.

Doesn’t work iOS 14

Can’t add do button as a widget anymore

Cannot edit applets

l0calher0

“Edit” only lets you rename an applet or configure the existing devices. So every time you want to add a light to an IFTTT you have to create a new applet from scratch. PLEASE FIX THIS.

What happened?

This used to work perfect for logging to the calendar on my iPhone when I would arrive and leave work. Now the recipe can’t even be created. Why would I pay for it?

Super confusing

Ankh99

I can never figure out how to use this app each time I need to change something, and it usually takes me a good 30 minutes to figure it out by reading articles online or watching videos. The UI is horrible. Thankfully, when you do figure out how to do what you need it to do, it works well.

Subscription required, now useless

scion#348

Oh the corporate greed.

Subscription...nope!

Moto27

Why is there a monthly subscription to this? This is a totally deal breaker for an app that doesn’t get a lot of use. The app itself works fine, but not worth a fee.
