Worst user experience - uploads pause in background

Even after giving all permissions. The app pauses the upload after minimizing it.

Keeps trying to upload my phones and videos on my phone, it’ll freeze and reset. I even have it set to upload in background.

I just signed up with iDrive and it does what it claims to do. However, myself and I’m sure others, have a hard time reading the dialog screens because of the blinding white backgrounds and faint font colors. Utility programs such as this, should provide a dark mode option. Then I could read the information it provides much more easily.

Back speed is way too slow. Hours pass by with only 2 or 3 photo files being backed up.

Would like to see Yubico 2FA to lock down my files. Passwords are not strong enough to lock down our data.

Using this app since iPhone 5. So that’s 4 iPhones and a bunch of iOS versions. Never been able to upload calendar or contacts despite repeated help from support. Also stops backup when app not in focus—why? Does a good job at photo and video backup otherwise.

Derive is so slow its useless

If you’re backing up small data sets like couple of gigabytes it’s fine but if you have latge data set like over 1 TB, the cloud service struggles to keep that information accessible. Maybe they offload it to tape or something cuz you just can’t preview it in iOS app. Or any app. The Asustor integration makes backup process easy but if you can’t access the info is the backup really worth it?
