Very good very simple app to use

kscorza

I have been installing The Hydrawise controllers for quite some time now and have used and taught 100’s of costumers to use this app. It has been very easy for most people to understand and navigate. It can be as simple or as powerful as needed. Of all the controllers I have used (which is just about all of them) this controller and the app are my favorite. It is simple to install, it is simple to use and Hunter tech support has been great for the few times I have needed them

App freezes every time I use it

bannedinhillvalley

Every time I open the app and try to do anything it freezes and I have to force quit the app. Please fix this so I can actually set up my controller

Weather stations don’t record rain

Kim3317

The change to the weather stations made spotty reporting of rain to no reporting of rain. It has been raining hours per day for the last 4 days. Rain reported 0 inches. If it were up to the ET function, I would need to water although there are pools of water in the streets which makes it basically useless.

Bad Update

BaldGuysRock

My scheduled run times are not showing when I open each zone. Refreshing the page per the embedded help does not fix anything. Also, they did away with the global suspension removal function. Now you have to open each zone, hit pause (not intuitive) then remove suspensions zone by zone. Square this away now.

Why!!

GTSJEFE

Why is it that the forecast calls for rain, it’s raining, but your controller still turns on to water? Hydrawise is....

Decent until update

kd5lef

Pretty good app until the latest upgrade. It pretty much went to hell after that. Defaulted suspensions and sprinklers went of when it was 6 degrees out. Lost 2 rotors as a result. Also changed language settings and I had to guess my way back to English. Going through all settings and doing a basic reconfiguration to rule out more bugs. Hope they get it straight on the next upgrade.

Bring back the slider for manually selecting time

AMaench

Who ever thought it was smart to remove the slider for the manual time selection should be fired. If you keep the wheel add a small button to make it easier to grab. Right now it’s a bad design.

Relatively good app

TM in 78418

I’ve been using this app off and on (mostly off) for over a year now. The app is fairly intelligent as it integrates with external sources to provide predictive watering which is really nice - helps minimize water usage. In terms of “usability”, The scheduling functionality is relatively simple although I am a really infrequent user and when I have had to go back in and tweak the schedule, it takes me time fumble around with the controls on the screen (drop down lists, etc). Some appear disabled (greyed out) even though they are enabled, etc. If the scheduling was a bit more graphical, that would be beneficial. In any case, it’s still fairly usable for an infrequent user. The one big thing I don’t like about this application is the manual login. I should be able to authenticate using my fingerprint. But, I don’t see that as an option and, is also the reason why I have been mostly “off” than on. I forgot my password finally only after a few months got time to change my password and log back in. You build a great app, but if it’s pain in the neck to get into, chances are you won’t use it to its maximum benefit.

iPhone X Support

s-p-m

Disgraceful lack of iPhone X home button-less screen support. The only app on my phone that can’t seem to support the screen size with a proper buffer at the bottom. Every update that comes out I Hope is the one to fix it...but it never is...

Garbage
