Great website for ideas but that’s it

This app is great for searching design ideas, but don’t purchase anything. I never received a notification that my item shipped until 2 days AFTER I got the item. It’s nearly impossible to speak with customer service or make a return. They just refer you over to the seller via email instead of handling the return like Wayfair does. Fortunately the seller contacted me and I was able to explain that I was missing parts. I was really worried that if they weren’t able to help me I wouldn’t be able to get my money back. You’re better off buying direct from the seller’s site or from Amazon or Wayfair. Houzz just seemed really shady.

I had a terrible experience with Houzz. Customer service dropped the ball on a product (patio furniture) that was obviously not made well. A month after I asked for help, my issue is still unresolved. I tried to change my review of the product through the app as a warning to other potential shoppers. Houzz app glitched and has not posted my review. I find this to be problematic. Be wary of what you buy on Houzz and what you review. Once you review, you may not be able to update it.

This game at the begging gave me a free trial FOR A WEEK and the game had people you had to call. I was going to do a beginner bathroom but it wouldn’t let me do it so at that point I deleted the game I had it for one day yesterday I had mail from apple IT WAS FOR THIS GAME!!!!! It said I owed 9 dollars I know that is not a lot but I had this game for about 5 minutes I con not pay 9 dollars for a game so if your like me I highly suggest you don’t get this.

Have been paying monthly for an ad in my market and believe the audience is much smaller than promised. Still waiting for my first lead. Don’t waste your money!

Long term user who started with Garden Web, migrated to Houzz, and downloaded the app. I participate in discussions and also use the app to hire and consult professionals. I really downloaded the app to test the augmented reality feature. Can’t find it! The web site is pretty straight forward. Navigating it is fairly simple but the app is not. Everything in the app is sales focused. Forget finding the discussions. I’ll continue to use the web site but most likely will delete the app. It might be the developer’s purpose to sell stuff to users but they totally disregarded the users in this app.

Almost unusable now.

The swiping from the left clearing searches has made this app almost unusable. Specifically tapping the back button should be the only way to clear a search otherwise you can inadvertently go back and have to start over again when reviewing search results.
The app itself seems fine, but the content seems catered towards people who don’t need to budget.

I didn’t have any issues with the development of the app and didn’t come across any bugs or poor app design, but with all of the options to customize your feed (from “modern,” to “shabby-chic” to “teenage boy” to “perfect pergolas”), I expected to see a way to customize for budget options. Nope. If you’ve got $1200 to spend on a chair, this is the app for you.
