Think thoroughly before you buy stuff

It’s a nice place to browse the pics and get some ideas. But, don’t buy the stuff from Houzz. I bought a light and wanted to return, it has additional fee for returning. And the print label didn’t work, so I contacted the customer service using the online chat, and was told to just wait for someone to reach out to me. 2weeks passed, still no update, and the light is 30+ days post the delivery, so can’t return now.

Can’t sign in — bad design

I redownloaded this app and can’t sign in, because the “sign in” option is overlapped by a “read terms and conditions” link, which takes priority. Oh well. Nice job.

Char Desmond from Cambridge Closets made it so easy to plan out our closets in our house that we just remodeled from top to bottom. Char was a pleasure to work with and always available if I had questions. I would recommend Cambridge Closets to all and I would use them again for all my closet/organizational projects. MAR

Great app, some problems though

I’ve been looking for good interior design apps for a while, since I’m still young and am not able to go on decorating rooms. When I found houzz, I was pretty excited knowing that real furniture was in it. The idea is great, but they really need to improve on perspective. When you put down a rug in their digital design section, it looks like a block. It needs to look like it is actually on the floor. Smh. Also, you can’t rotate furniture to face the way you want. It just looks like how it was in the photo.

Stop making the interface to be like that for Pintrest!! It’s ruining the experience on Houzz. If I could rate a 0 star I would believe me for this new update.

The comment section is poorly planned. Someone liking your comment nets you an e-mail that says “go to comment,” but when you click on it, it brings you to the article, not your comment. Additionally, there is no reply option in comments, which makes them relatively useless, especially when many people are asking advice in the comment section. This isn’t rocket science, Houzz. Make your app developers give you your money’s worth.

Great if your goal is to see how the 1% live

I don’t know anyone who lives like the homes presented in this app. There is just not much here for people with modest homes. Nearly every idea presented is aspirational, not much practical design and home improvement for regular folk.

Deceitful Order AND Account Hacked

I’m beyond disgusted with this very sketchy app. There’s no way to truly “contact” their supposed CUSTOMER SERVICE & despite stating you have 30 days to return your order, I was given a date of less than a week. I’m disabled & home bound. My password was changed by someone else. DON’T USE THIS APP OR BUY ANYTHING FROM IT.
