In iOS settings, under the app, access to local got turned off somehow. That was the reason for not connecting.

The app doesn’t show video consistently. I constantly get an error unable to access video
This app is horrible. I have to add the cameras into the multi view every time I open the app.

The app works great I can watch my home while I’m at work. I can do play back to see when things come to my house. It all worked great. My problem is their are times and when I say times I mean weeks that when I check the app it will say off line. Did did find that if I reset my WiFi I can see everything but when I check again later everything is off line again

Don’t waste your time! I have downloaded and reconnected my devices on this app and on my computer dozens of times. It never recognize my device. And I’m computer savvy enough to know what I’m doing.I have even had computer techs come to my home and reconnect me all to no avail.I will never purchase another hik-connect product again.
Live view failed

Constantly getting this error. Nothing fails but the UI is just frozen for like five seconds before you can regain control. Been doing it forever now. Come on guys, fix this please.
