Goodbye Hightail

Dman63

12/13 - I will be removing the app today. I encourage others to do the same. Very unfortunate that Hightail apparently just don’t care. You’ve made it abundantly clear that you have no intention of fixing your app. That’s unfortunate but I’ve moved on to the new iPhone Files app to play the audio files that I use to play from Hightail. I preferred the old Hightail but, oh well.

More complicated than it needs to be

Jxsnnxjdj2828&3

This app is way more complicated than it needs to be. From the naming conventions to the UX. The app also doesn’t sync up with what you find in the browser. You can pull something up in the browser and the browser will send you to the app, which doesn’t display what the browser displayed.

IPhone App is pointless

EmbilyBimbily

Unfortunately, the iPhone app is useless if you’re using Hightail to send files stored in Hightail. The iPad app is easy and works great - why can’t the phone version work the same way?

Useless :-( very disappointed

Totally Vibed

I would have expected this app to mirror somewhat closely the online version. What is missing for me is the ability to forward or resend files that I sent from my computer workstation. It only allows sending data resident on the phone. I have to use the browser version to use all its features. Maybe that is the point but, the earlier version of this app had much more functionality. Having the ability to not only track, but manage sent files would be so convenient on a phone.

Not intuitive

mediakos

I’m relieved to see that I am not alone in my Inability to use Hightail in the way I need it to function. It’s difficult to moves files from folders to spaces and when I try to add files it goes to my photo library that’s it! Doesn’t handle video files well either. No previews.

Not for mp3 files

half measures

After hours of trying, I have concluded that trying to listen to mp3 files downloaded with app is impossible on iOS unless you download to computer first.

Zero? Negative stars?

b33unit

Other than it doesn’t crash this is one of the worst apps in the store. I can’t see any of the spaces in my account

Doe not work with new iOS 11

TwinkieLite

App does not work with the new iOS 11 updates and Apple has made you aware. When you are charging for a service it is your responsibility to ensure it works with all major platforms. This issue is causing major issues. I wish I could give it NO stars at this time.

Not good for sending file

Hal Kenny

This app will not allow me to send the files I have stored in the folders. It only wants to send what’s in my phone’s photos. Not helpful.

Moving to Dropbox

New version very disappointing. Have been a paying customer for 5 years. Now forced to switch same reasons as all the other reviews.
