Not in same VLAN? Good luck!
0x45

The app requires that you are in the same broadcast domain to work and does not provide an option for manual configuration. If you don't have a flat network and are in a different VLAN, app will not work. I get two options: Retry and Exit. Pretty lame. 1-star all the way.

Update

Can you update the prime 3 tuner firmware

Crashes. Turner time out

Was working fine before the update. Now can’t the app is having all these issues

Cool concepts, bad implementation

I love the user interface ideas in this application, but there are too many basic things missing, and too many bugs. On iPhone 12 with iOS 14, the following is observed: 1) the live channel tabs on the right go “blank” if you scroll fast. You then can’t click on them until you slow down and try and remaneuver them. This is by far and away the worst bug. 2) the pull out tabs when you swipe - not reliable and sometimes they stay on the screen in extended mode and you can’t make them go away 3) the volume/mute button does nothing 4) if you don’t have the dvr service, scheduling recordings from “discover” does not make sense. Hide it. Apple TV issues: 1) Discover does not work on Apple TV app - you can’t select programming from the pretty thumbnails 2) it’s hard to make the app menu highlight the right thing on Apple TV - you have to swipe up or something to get “discover” to highlight and then you can swipe left or right Basic features missing: 1) why aren’t favorite channels at the top of the list?? 2) rewind and ffwd only move specific time blocks forward or back- you can’t slide to specific times 3) don’t turn on subtitles automatically if I volume all the way down! 4) signal strength meter to help tune channels. Please??? Even better would be a channel scan integration with the HDHomeRun tuner - silly to have to do this separately but at the VERY LEAST give us a basic signal strength indicator! 5) if the app can’t lock in a channel, it goes into “no video data” mode for that channel. The only way to get out of this mode is to tune to another channel and then back. This is absurd - making it impossible to fine tune channel reception while rotating an antenna, for example. It should just attempt to tune in with whatever signal there is, and if the signal improves, the picture should improve, instead of going into this “time out” mode

Great app

I bought a atsc 3.0 tuner from Silicon Dust and everything is working well on my iPad and MacBook Pro Mac silicon M1, and even on my Apple ???

I love my he homerun prime and this app
Spmmmenot

Let me start by saying this app may be free but it does require a subscription for everything to work. The app is easy to use and fairly intuitive. I usually use the ‘live’ and the channel guide. The ‘discover’ page is useful for finding best shows and movies currently showing. ‘Recording’ and ‘task’ pages shows what’s recorded and scheduled for upcoming recordings. All of these features have led me to love this app. I would recommend it to anyone who’s looking to expand their home entertainment on their iOS devices constructive criticism: -filters needed - I wish there was a quick filter for separating out favorite channels, unsubscribed channels, hd vs sd. -tv guide - is there a way to view a list of all shows for current and next 2hrs, and be able to search for channels or shows? If it’s there it should be more apparent. If not, we desperately need it. This feature is avail in all tv receivers and even the channel app.
